Nice and “tidy”, as Nessie would say, 2-0 last night.
Had both Tampa and the Jets to win in regulation. The Jets caused heart attacks at times, but thankfully they were able to pull away in the third quarter and get the win.
Glad I stayed away from the Canucks yesterday. They battled hard but the Kraken were too much for them. And oof – what a battering the Habs gave the Panthers. Love to see it.
It’s a busy Sunday so let’s see what we got. Have to get these finished so I can focus on the latest disappointing performance from Glasgow Rangers in a couple of hours.
Blues vs Sabres:
Both teams coming in off wins following the brief break. Sabres slight advantage in CF% & FF% but not really noteworthy. Their offense is producing but the issues is with their goals conceded. Going against the Blues, whose offense has been hot the last two games? No thanks.
Ducks vs Oilers:
Eh – I mean Oilers shoul win but -1.5 on the road considering one regulation win in their last 5? No. For the record, the metrics do back them to cover that -1.5.
Lightning vs Canadiens:
Habs coming in on a high and looking to back it a Florida double. I can’t quite see it, but the Habs performances lately plus the fact that both teams are on a B2B – I can’t bet the handicap here. Think I’d probably roll with Tampa if the in regulation odds were worth it.
Red Wings vs Capitals:
Eh. Caps are marginal here I’d say. The slightest of leans but at the odds, on the road and on a B2B it’s too much of a gamble for me.
Penguins vs Islanders:
Just played yesterday. I always pass on those.
Knights vs Flames:
Knights coming in on a good run. Flames also had a couple of solid results but played yesterday. Mmmm..Knights in regulation is marginal. The odds are a bit too low for me I think I’d back them at 1.80 in regulation but highest I am seeing is 1.72.
Wild vs Senators:
Nothing here. Sens look like they are on a downward trend but the Wilds metrics, particularly offensive, are very poor and not backworthy.
Blackhawks vs Stars:
Blackhawks are massive home dogs here despite winning three in a row at home. Stars are struggling just a tad at the moment.
Unfortunately, the metrics no surprise are strongly in favour of the Stars. I do think there’s a bit of value on the Hawks, but nothing to bet. I’d maybe price them about 2.70 or 2.80 myself just at a quick glance. Not one I can advise.
Kings vs Flyers:
Nothing here. Kings struggling ever so slightly at the moment. Flyers goaltending is their biggest issue but the rest of the defensive metrics are good so that’s a concern. No bet.
Now live bet Lightning Greame??
