The Ducks ended their 3 game losing skid when they beat the Canes 3-2 in OT. The Sens ended the Stars win streak at 7 games when they won 3-2.
The Wings pushed their win streak to 7 games when they beat the Kraken, the Lightning beat the Penguins 5-2 and the Knights beat the Wild 4-1.
Only 3 games today.
Panthers vs Flyers
They’ve played twice this season and the Panthers won the last one 7-5 and the first one 4-3 in a shootout.
The Panthers have 3 losses in their last 5 games. They are in 2nd in the Atlantic and could use the 2 points from a win to gain some ground on the Leafs.
The Flyers are coming off of snapping their 4 game losing skid when they beat the Ducks 6-0. They are in 8th place in the Metro but are only 5 points behind the Jackets who are in 4th.
With the Panthers play and the Flyers coming off of a losing streak I’m fine skipping this one.
Flames vs Blackhawks
They have played twice this season with the Flames winning both by a combined score of 9-5.
The Flames are on a 2 game win streak but have gone 6-8-4 on the road.
The Hawks are still struggling losing their last 2 games and have gone 2-8 in last 10. At home they have gone 9-12-0
Flames have better numbers in Corsi, Fenwick, SF, SA. Hawks have the advantage in GF/60 but the Flames have better numbers in XGF/60 and XGA/60.
With all the data going the Flames way and the play of the Hawks in last 10, really all season, I do like the Flames to win. Odds aren’t great but wanted to have a tip and this does have plenty pointing towards a Flames win.

Kings vs Oilers
Big game in Pacific here with the Oilers in 2nd and the Kings in 3rd. The Kings won the previous game between these teams 4-3 in OT.
Kings are at about .500 on the road this season going 10-9-4. It is still insane to me how different they are at home where they have gone 14-2-1. They are also one of the best teams in the league defensively ranking in GAPG and in SOGA
The Oilers are 7-2-1 in last 10 but looking back at who they played it’s not as impressive when you see the Ducks, Blackhawks, Sharks and a slumping Bruins team in there. But they have been playing well at home winning their last 5 in Edmonton.
Big game in the standings that could go either way.
