Fun day of hockey yesterday with a LOT of goals.
Went 2-0 with the bets. Had the Preds/Sabres to go over 6, and they delivered with ease in a 10 goal thriller that hit 4 goals at the end of the 1st period.
And had the Panthers in regulation and no sweat there.
Glad the data was strongly against the Bruins play yesterday.
Quieter day with the Super Bowl, with just two games on the board.
We then have the week off until next Saturday – and honestly, I think that will be a “no bet” day. Just giving you a heads up now – I think I want to see how the teams perform again as it’s a bit of a reset taking that long a break. I’ll still analyze everything based on current data but yeah don’t expect any bets then.
Ditto for the Sunday, and then that should be enough games to have us collect some good data again.
Let’s look at today:
Capitals vs Utah:
Capitals coming in playing well, although goaltending has been an issue for them.Utah on the B2B, some tight games and the big loss yesterday.
Utah have a great CF?60 and better CF% and FF%. Creating more etc. With Washingtons goals conceded last few games, I’m happy to pass at the odds. Not wowrth betting the over as you don’t know if Utahs offense can turn up, especially on the B2B.
Canadiens vs Lightning:
Definite lean Tampa based on the data, but the B2B is putting me off here. Especially with it being the last game before the week off.
Yeah no plays today. Enjoy the Super Bowl! See you all in a week!
