It’s now a best of three series for the Montreal Canadiens and the Boston Bruins. It was the Bruins Matt Fraser who, in his first ever playoff game, scored at 1:19 of the first OT to win the game 1-0. This series moves to Boston for game 5.
And the Ducks were finally able to get a win in their series when they beat the LA Kings 3-2. The Kings lead the series 2-1. Ducks goalie Frederik Andersen left the game midway through the third period with a lower body injury. Jonas Hiller finished the game and picked up the win.
Tonight we have 2 more crucial games taking place. First it’s the Rangers vs the Penguins with the Penguins up 3-1. Can the Penguins end the series tonight? Then it’s game 4 between the Blackhawks and the Wild with the Blackhawks up 2-1. The Wild pounded the Hawks 4-0 in game 3.

Rangers vs Penguins: Penguins Win in regulation
After dropping the first game at home to the Rangers, the Penguins have pulled off 3 straight wins and are back home for game 5.
With a win tonight the Pens could be the first team to move on to the third round of this year NHL playoffs.
The Penguins were never really in the discussion of best teams in the league this year. All of the talk was about the Bruins, the Ducks, the Avs and the Blues. Pittsburgh is going to remind everybody that when you have both Crosby and Malkin on your team you have a shot each year to win it all. The Penguins have a real good chance of ending the series tonight at home.
And with the unfortunate news that Marty St. Louis’ mother passed away last night and his status uncertain for tonight’s game this is going to hurt the Rangers as Marty is a huge piece of their team.

Blackhawks vs Wild: Blackhawks Win
After getting shutout in game 3 4-0, the Blackhawks are going to be looking for a huge bounce back game.
The Hawks will need to get more pucks on net as they only managed 19 shots in game 3. Look for Chicago to get a lot more this game. Wild goalie Bryzgalov is going to have his work cut out for him in this one.
Before Tuesday nights loss the Hawks had won 6 straight. Anytime a team can win that many games in a row in the playoffs you have to like their chances to go far.
