A very frustrating night in Alberta, where my Habs were shut out by the Edmonton Oilers.
Oilers are now on a 4 game winning streak, with Ben Scrivens the hero last night. 29 shots and 29 saves as he stepped up and picked up just his 1st shutout of this season, which is also just his 7th shutout of his career.
Habs did well but just could not get the puck in the net – and a couple of bad turnovers didn’t help things. That’s variance in hockey for you and congrats to the Oilers. I’ve got a lot of friends who are Oilers fans, and hopefully they can build off this.
Curious to see how the Habs play tonight. They’ve been dominant at home, but their road form they’ve been squeaking out the wins and now have 2 losses. Bit of a concern. I initially had them tipped to bounce back tonight – but going to hold off as their road form is a bit suspect.
And how about that Rangers vs Wild game? You have a goalless first period, followed by a dominating 3-0 2nd period for the Wild, and then the Rangers come back and win 5-4. Just amazing.

Alright now I want to go play some more Sunset Overdrive so let’s get to the tips:
Jets vs Islanders Betting Tips:
The Islanders have been playing some solid hockey, especially when it comes to offense. They’re scoring an impressive 3.88 a game at the moment, and that doesn’t bode well for the Jets.
The Jets are struggling to score with most of their goals coming through Little. Kane is not expected to play tonight – if he was we might lean towards the over. However with him out, we’ll just go with the Islanders to win in regulation.
Islanders in regulation, 1.90 odds at Sports Interaction (Exclusive: $20 Free Bet for Canadians) or for Americans try out Bovada and everyone else Bet365.com..
Canucks vs Hurricanes Betting Tips:
The Hurricanes welcome back Eric Staal tonight. However they’ve had a lot of problems that Staal returning just can’t fix. It’s going to take time for them to get going under Peters.
Canucks have been mixed so far – but when they win, they win good. 4 of their 5 wins this season have been by at least two goals, and their offense has been great throughout the season.
We like Canucks to win by 2 goals tonight.
Canucks -1.5, 2.3 odds at Sports Interaction (Exclusive: $20 Free Bet for Canadians) or for Americans try out Bovada and everyone else Bet365.com...
Bruins vs Wild Betting Tips:
The Wild are 1-3-0 on the road this season, and had that massive demoralizing meltdown last night. They’re going up against a well rested Bruins team who admittedly have struggled a lot this season.
It’s the perfect time for the Bruins to step up this season, and we like them to do just that.
We’ll go with Bruins in regulation at 2.00 odds.
Is there some bonus code ti sports interaction? Nice tips! Thanks
Nope – just have to make sure you use that specific link. You’ll land at a page that mentions the free bet and then register from there. It’s all tracked via referrals.
Okey! Thanks
Hi, where can I find a comparison of teams’ records w/ rest? For
example: What was the Blues’ record with 3+ days of rest last year? How about 2+ days? Then also the other side: What was their record on the back end of b-to-bs? I can’t find this stuff. Shouldn’t this information be out there somewhere, if not readily available on, let’s say, of all places, NHL.com? Thanks.
