Last night was brutal. All was looking good for the tips and the night was looking like a perfect 3-0. And then it hit the fan.

We had the Penguins -1.5 and they won with ease against the Sabres 5-0. Great start to the night 1-0

Next we had the two late games. Canucks vs Oilers and Isles vs Sharks both Over 5.5. After the first period in each game it was looking like a perfect night as there were two goals scored in both games. 2nd period the Canucks vs Oilers game had another two goals scored where the Isles vs Sharks had none.

2 goals in the third for the Sharks carried them to the 3-1 win leaving us at 1-1. Needing the pace of the Canucks – Oilers game to continue where it left off at a 2 goal per period pace. It started great with an early goal by Vancouver but it stopped there leaving us one goal short in the Canucks 3-2 win and us 1-2 for the night. Just infuriating being so close to a perfect night and looked like it would happen but these things happen.

A great day of hockey for us with 7 games happening starting at 5:00pm. Some of the games look like total mismatches but as we have seen this year, anything can and will happen.

Let’s get to the NHL betting tips for Sunday November 2nd

Flames vs Canadiens Betting Tips

Montreal has looked great all year and when facing a team in rebuild mode like the Flames then this should be an easy win right?

Not so fast. The Flames have been playing way better then anyone expected and have managed to stay competitive despite the rebuild.

But the Habs are healthy and the Flames are without Stajan, Raymond, Backlund and possibly Colborne. It’s those key players being out that give this game to the Habs

Coyotes vs Capitals Betting Tips

Arizona has had a terrible start to the year which is surprising. They have been able to stay competitive for the last few years without a superstar thanks to full team approach. This year though they look bad and sit in last place in the West.

Washington has also had a rough start to the year. But with a new coach and a bunch of new players I think that once they get a little more familiar with each other this team will do damage.

Both teams are on 3 game losing streaks. One streak will end and the other will continue to 4.

We are going to go with the home team Caps in this one. Caps win has brutal odds of 1.53. So let’s go with the better value Caps In Regulation for 1.83

Red Wings vs Sabres Betting Tips

Going to go with a different type of bet on this one.

Sabres are giving up almost 3.5 goals a game. Detroit average 2.7 goals a game.

At Sports Interaction (Exclusive: $20 Free Bet for Canadians) or for Americans try out Bovada and everyone else Bet365.com.. You can bet on how many goals you think the team will score win or lose.

If you scroll down you will see Team Total. Under there you can bet on how many goals each team will score.

For this game we are going to bet on
Detroit 3 or 4 goals for 2.34 odds.

Just another cool betting option available at Sports Interaction (Exclusive: $20 Free Bet for Canadians) or for Americans try out Bovada and everyone else Bet365.com.

NHL->Number of Goals->Sabres vs Red Wings Away Team Goals. Could split the bet – half on Over 2.5 at 1.55 and half on Over 3.5 at 2.40.
