We only made a small profit yesterday going 1-1 but that’s better then losing money.

Our loss came from the Dallas Stars. We had them to beat the Edmonton Oilers in regulation. But the Stars needed OT and 8 rounds of a shootout to pick up the 6-5 victory. Big game from Tyler Seguin and Taylor Hall who both had 2 goals and an assist. These two players will forever be linked thanks to the tough choice the Oilers had to make of who to take first overall in that draft year. Seguin went 2nd to the Bruins, which was the Leafs pick, but let’s not get into that.

Our win came from our parlay. We had the Hurricanes +1.5, they lost 1-0 but we still won thanks to the spread, and the Bruins over the Sabres. The Bruins won 4-3 but needed OT to win.

The Blackhawks beat the Leafs 4-0, with the win the Rangers pushed their win streak to 6 games, the Avalanche upset the Red Wings 2-1 in a shootout and Flyers beat the Jets 4-3 in OT. Of the 6 games yesterday, 4 of them needed extra time to be completed.

Another 6 games today. So let’s get to it

Senators vs Capitals Betting Tips

The Sens have beaten the Caps 7 times in a row.

And now the Sens seem to be gaining some traction under their new coach Dave Cameron. The Senators are 3-1-1 since replacing head coach Paul MacLean

The Caps are on their own hot streak having earned at least a point in eight straight

But we like the odds and the Sens in this one. They seem to have the Caps number so let’s hope it continues tonight

Flames vs Kings Betting Tips

The Kings are showing people why they are the defending Stanley Cup Champs. They are on fire and are aiming for their third win in a row.

The Flames. After showing so much promise they are coming back down to earth. Which we all expected. They come in to this game trying to avoid losing their 9th straight game.

But you have to think that this game is going to go the Kings way. They look like they did last year and taking on a Flames team who is having some trouble

Let’s take the Kings In Regulation for 1.77 at http://www.5Dimes.eu for Americans(Need to register to see lines) and and http://www.Bet365.com for everyone else.

Penguins vs Panthers Betting Tip

These teams played each other on Saturday night with the Penguins coming away with the 3-1 win.

During that game Mitchell tried to hit Letang in the head with Letang’s own helmet. So emotions are going to be running high in this game.

Crosby is playing in his third game since returning from the mumps. So he’s going to be 100% healthy and back in game shape.

We like the Penguins chances in this one. This game could also turn into a fight fest thanks to Swinging Willie’s antics.

Over 5for 1.71 betting odds an we will also go with Penguins win in Regulation for 2.00 betting odds. Bet both of these at http://www.5Dimes.eu for Americans(Need to register to see lines) and and http://www.Bet365.com for everyone else.

Man that dallas game was fun to watch. Seguin was a beast (thank god he was on my fantasy team). Wish they pulled it off in Reg, but oh well.

Was watching the boston game and really confused as to where that team stands. Granted they still won, but they look so sloppy for the talent they have and are certainly not the threat they were last year. I don’t know if this is a team that is just in a slump or a team that just does not have the same chemistry. Or the coach needs to do some major line swapping. There a team i feel real uncomfortable betting on. Curious what you took from their past several games. (does not relate to tonight’s tips, but just something I was thinking about and wanted to get an opinion from a competent hockey fan.)

Yeah I was watching the game and when it was 5-2 Oilers I was ready to turn it off. Then I was like….nah, I think I’m gonna stay tuned to this one. I love it. I love streaky teams both hot and cold. Always fun to watch – the cold streaks being more fun.

Boston are a team where we just don’t know. That Buffalo game yesterday – all signs pointed to Boston blowing them out of the water. But we couldn’t pull the trigger and went for that parlay – and got lucky with that too.

It’s very tricky because they’re a team where based on the stats, we should be treating in the lower tier. And based on that there’s a ton of value there. But every time we go to bet against them we get scared because it’s Boston, ya know? Probably a lot of missed opportunities for us.

Theres another post here asking about tonights games I’ll go through them all there.

Hey guys any thoughts on other tonight games?

Predators/Jackets under seems like value. Line is 5 but 2.20 is good if Rinne and Bobrovsky perform as they both can. Hell just one of them needs to perform.

Canucks vs Coyotes like the over there at 5.5.

Sharks vs Ducks – like both the over as it has potential to be high scoring, and also the Sharks win. 2.10 is solid value there the way they’ve been playing. Probably should be around 1.90.

Pens playing without Sutter and Downie, not to mention Maata, Dupuis, Bennet, Bortuzzo………..

I really like the Canucks and Kings tonight. Seem like the safest plays, unless I am missing something.
