A rough night last night as we went 0-2.
We had the Grand Salami Under 26.5 but thanks to a few games that had high scores, which we didn’t expect, we lost this bet when the goal total of the night hit 29.
The other tip from last night was our pick of the Preds to beat the Ducks but it was the Ducks winning their 2nd game of the season. The Ducks haven’t been able to score this year but came away with 4 in this one despite not getting any points from Perry, Kesler or Getzlaf (who missed the game with appendicitis). Even with the win I still expect the Ducks to make a couple of big moves in the near future with hopes of saving their season.
A fairly slow night of NHL action tonight with only 3 game scheduled.
Kings vs Blackhawks Betting Tips:
The Kings come into this game on fire having won 7 straight games after opening the season with 3 straight losses.
The Hawks had 3 straight games where they only managed to score 1 goal and then scored 4 in their last game, a 5-4 loss to the Wild. The are on a 2 game losing streak but should be happy to be back at home where they’ve been great going 5-1.
Hawks haven’t been scoring goals and without Keith they have tightened up defensively. Now word is that Hossa will be out. The Kings havent been lighting up the scoresheets of late either. Of their 7 wins only one went over 5 and 3 hit 5. We were leaning towards a Kings win and Under but just can’t pull the trigger with the Hawks at home.
We couldn’t agree on anything so theres no tip for this game.
Stars vs Maple Leafs Betting Tips:
Two teams going in opposite directions in this one. The Dallas Stars are 9-2 on the year which is one of their best starts in franchise history, have won 8 of their last 9 and are riding a 3 game win streak into tonight. The Leafs are hurting. They’re 1-7-2 on the year, on a 6 game losing streak and sit in 28th place in both goals for and against on the season.
It’s hard to bet against the Stars at this point especially when they’re playing the Leafs.

Flyers vs Canucks Betting Tips
Another game that we are going to avoid.
The Canucks should win this game and we were leaning towards tipping them. But the odds are below our 1.70 minimum and this should be a close game so we don’t want the regulation bet.

LA are on a btob with Chi & St.L so my guess is the streak could end with one of these games…the question is which one? I like the Canucks to win too but not confident enough to bet money on them. The only way TO will win tonight is if Dallas is too over confident or falls asleep. Aside from all the stats favouring the Stars, Seguin and Spezza are local boys and probably want to put on a show for their families.
Good to hear your thoughts are pretty much in line with us. Can’t wait for Leafs to pump the Stars 6-0 now.
