Well – I knew last night wasn’t going to be a good night just 9 minutes into the Leafs game. After everything I wrote about Sparks and the confidence the Leafs had in him – he was pulled and the Leafs were 2-0 down.
Thankfully it was an injury as to why he was pulled – because he had been playing a blinder before that and 2 PPGs against him really say less about him than the team. Leafs fought back but with Bernier in net – not gonna happen.
The Dallas Stars were surprisingly blown out by the Calgary Flames. They scored a short handed goal to go up 1-0 and everything was looking good – but the Flames stepped up
We had the Over in the Blackhawks/Oilers game and the Blackhawks held up their end of the bargain. Unfortunately the Oilers couldn’t get anything past Crawford.

Capitals vs Lightning Betting Tips:
Capitals have two victories already over the Tampa Bay Lightning and I like them to make it a third.
Tampa are without Palat, Johnson and Drouin and are going up against a Washington team that have been firing on all cylinders all throughout the season.

Panthers vs Hurricanes Betting Tips:
A lot of stats lean towards the Panthers today – but I like the Carolina Hurricanes.
Panthers have obliterated the Devils and Islanders in their last two road games but I think this is a step too far for them. The Hurricanes are also surging and Jeff Skinner has really helped the team fire on all cylinders at the moment.
However I don’t like the odds on the Canes. They’re too heavy favourites in what I think should be a lot closer in terms of odds. Actually makes the Panthers probably a value bet.
Going to take Over 5 in this game.

what the hell ML means 😀 i still cant get it
there are generally three primary bets: money line or who will be the eventual winner/loser. spread or margin of victory/loss and total points scored between both teams (usually 5 or 5.5). When I indicate ML it’s short hand for money line.

Where are you seeing anything close to caps +107 at 5dimes?
It’s dropped to +103 now but was +107 at time of post.
That is with the spread not moneyline. Thank u for the reply by the way. So when you say regulation are you always referring to the spread not straight up?
In regulation means in regulation time – so within the first 60 minutes. If it goes to OT, it’s a losing bet.
Some books handle the wording differently. Bet365 use Money Line 3-Way for example. And yeah 5Dimes is the weirdest because they have the section for “within 60 minutes” but then have Capitals -0.5.
They also list -165 without the handicap – if you bet that line and it goes to OT, it’s a push. That’s not the bet we go with – with ours if it goes to OT it’s a loss.
