Scott had a winning night last night going 2-1, although he could have went 30-0 last night and he wouldn’t have been happy, considering his Chicago Blackhawks are on the verge of elimination.
The Blackhawks battled hard and pounded the net of the Blues, however St. Lous still managed to win 4-3 with just 20 shots on net. Tarasenko was the star and now Chicago have to go to St. Louis and pick up a win or they’re out of the playoffs. Crawford going after Fabbri was tremendous though – only topped by the fact that he got a PP form it.
There was a surprise in the Penguins/Rangers game as the Rangers offense really struggled. They couldn’t put Murray under pressure and the Penguins walked away 3-1 winners to take a 2-1 lead in the series.
The Anaheim Ducks finally came to life as Scott predicted, with a 3-0 victory to get back in the game. And you have to feel for Frederik Andersen – dude is tough as hell to stay in the game after getting smashed in the face from that Weber slap shot.

Tampa picked up a big 3-2 win in Detroit. Have to think that series is all but over now although Game 5 will be a feisty one.

Graeme: After the fans antics during the last game, and the obvious disgust from Flyers players – it’s hard to see the Flyers being up for this one. Capitals in regulation.

Scott: Well game 2 got out of hand. Not only on the ice but the fans were given white wristbands and they began throwing them onto the ice so much so that the refs gave the Flyers a penalty due to it. The Caps powerplay did damage scoring 5 times, 4 in the third alone. This is a emotional series and it will continue in this game. I like the Caps to win tonight and sweep the Flyers but i am going with the higher Odds for this one and taking the over.

Panthers vs Islanders Betting Tips:
Graeme: It was bizarre hearing TSN talking about the Panthers “postseason slump” today. What? They’re down 2-1 in a series where they’ve battled extremely hard. Sometimes it really bugs me how speculative the media is. The Islanders have been impressive – even without Halak they’re battling so well and they have that important team chemistry. This is a very even game and I think Over 5 is the right play here. However I went with my gut with the Capitals in Game 3, and I’m going to do the same here. Panthers win.
Scott: The Isles lead the series 2-1, look good and could take this series which would be the first time in 23 years they have won a playoff round. But the Panthers did win the Atlantic and that happens due to having a skilled team who is capable of getting back into this game. I like the Panthers to win tonight and even the series at 2 as it shifts back to Florida.

Stars vs Wild Betting Tips:
Graeme: Dallas were given a harsh reminder of how you can’t take your foot off the gas as the Wild made an excellent comeback to win Game 3. I’m slightly concerned about that as Minnesota now have momentum on their side. But I’m going to take the risk that quality will win out, with a Stars win.

Scott: The Wild finally found their offense in the last game when they came away with the 5-3 win. They still trail in the series 2-1. With the Wild scoring, the Stars will need to flex their offensive muscles. I see this being a high scoring game

Kings vs Sharks Betting Tips:
Graeme: Pretty much everything I could say about this game I said the other day. Sharks not impressive at home during the regular season, Kings solid on the road. Kings came back big time from an early Shark goal and although it wasn’t the most dominant of victories they did the business. Quicks getting better as the games go on and I’m going with Kings win to tie up the series.
Scott The away teams have won the 1st 3 games of this series. These teams go the distance when the play in the playoffs and by the looks of the first two games this one will also. The Sharks have lost 6 of their last 8 home games so I think this game will continue to be the away teams.
