Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs takes place today, and the Pittsburgh Penguins go to San Jose with a perfect 2-0 record in this series.
It has been two tight games with the last one going to overtime but everything has went the Penguins away so far. However the Sharks are a very dangerous team and at home, they have been lethal in the playoffs so far.
9 games played and they’ve scored on average 3.67 a game, while conceding just 1.89 per game.
The Penguins meanwhile have been good at goals on the road themselves, and are also tight on the road defensively so it makes for an extremely interesting game as we see what wins out – offense or defense.
Sharks vs Penguins Game 3 Betting Tips:
Scott: Even though they’re down 2-0, the Sharks have manged to keep both games close. They lost game 1 with less than 3 minutes left and game 2 in OT.
This will be the first Stanley Cup final game played in San Jose so the home crowd are going to be going crazy. The Sharks have to win this game to try and make a series of it. If they go down 3-0 then this series will be all but over. With their backs against the wall, the home crowd behind them and having the last line change I like the Sharks to win tonight.
Sharks win
Graeme: With the previous two games in the series going Under 5.5, the odds for the Over 5.5 goals are at 2.35 and that’s good enough for me. These are two big offenses that could go off and I think that price is great.
