We went 1-1 with the tips last night.
Our win came when we went with the Blues to beat the Avalanche in regulation and they did winning 3-0. This was a big win for the Blues and they now sit in 8th place 1 point ahead of the Kings.
Our loss was the Ducks to win against the Canucks. The Canucks had Richard Bachman starting for his first action of the year and he didn’t disappoint. He made 43 saves in the 2-1 win.
The Sabres jumped out to a 3-0 lead against the Penguins but the Pens stormed back and won 4-3. It shows you how deep the Pens are when Crosby didn’t scored a single point in the comeback. The Flames picked up their 7th straight win when they beat the Isles 5-2. They now sit in 6th in the West, 7 points ahead of 8th.
There are 4 games scheduled for tonight.
Stars vs Capitals Betting Tips:
The Stars are in 12th in the West and 7 points behind 8th. They have had a rough year and things aren’t going to be any easier for them tonight.
The Caps are on a 3 game win streak and are still in first place in the league.
The Stars had a high scoring month of February but had bad results. To have any shot at winning this game they will need to score and often against a team like the Caps who have the potential to go off for a pile of goals every game.

Rangers vs Lightning Betting Tips:
When these teams play each other there seems to be goals.
Over the last 10 meetings of these two there has been and average of 6.10.
The Rangers are struggling at the moment and find themselves in the 1st wildcard spot. They need to get back to winning and fast. The teams they’re chasing are no pushovers: Capitals, Blue Jackets and Penguins.
The Lightning have gone 6-2-2 over their last 10 games and need to continue that strong play if they want any shot at the postseason.

Thoughts on the Bruins Tonight? I’m loving this squad right now.
Take a look at their record against Ottawa more importantly there last 3 games there. Anything can happen in a game for a win or loss but hockey trends are documented for a reason.
It’s going to be a tight game. Odds are about where they should be. Tough to pick sides when both teams are fighting for playoff spots, but I like the over.
WOW
I honestly think there’s value in Dallas tonight. Now that they are pretty much out of the playoff race they’re a dangerous team. And what i’ve noticed over the years is that whenever the better team won the 1st meeting against a non-playoff team, that 2nd game is always tough. I guess you just don’t prepare for the game the same way. Dallas have won the last 2 meetings in Washington and Kari just came off of 41/42 save performance against Florida. Caps aren’t scoring much right now, but the Stars big guns have got some goals lately.
On top of that my system tells me this is usually a good spot for road teams with almost 50% win rate in regulation.
Then you look at the odds and see Stars almost at 5 odds to win in regulation, and over 3 in ML.
Just something to think about.
I like the play… I’m taking them at +1.5 for -130
If it looks like Caps are going to pull away, I’ll live bet Washington for -1.5
Dallas PL has some value, I’m getting -125 and Stars are putting up crooked numbers every game. I like it str8 up and in a parlay with Bs-Sens over
I’d like this play a lot more if Washington wasn’t coming off such a listless performance against Philly. They will likely be focused and motivated to bounce back
I’m coming to try my luck again. Yesterday was something
Vancouver beating both LA and Anaheim in regulation on back to back nights is something I definitely never would have predicted!
Sports are unpredictable for the most part, in my eyes I actually don’t see that as an unpredictable event though, the fact that they beat LA in such fashion definitely made me feel that they had a chance against the ducks too, more to do with momentum and confidence than actual skill.
Agreed, any team can win on any given night. I personally wouldn’t have bet on the Canucks to win either game but everyone has their own betting systems/styles and can make their own decisions.
Combo in regulation:
Stars, Senators and Sharks.
Woohoo! Congrats
This looks like a very stinky night with a few leans and even fewer definite plays. Could this be a pay attention to the wife night?
:))))
I like Rangers ML, Sens ML and Sharks ML tonight.
I don’t see value in the sides for any of tonight’s games unless you pick Dallas ML. Caps should beat them, but Dallas has a great record ATS vs Caps. I like Star PL at -125. I also like the over.
Rangers ML – Rangers need a win badly and they match up well with Bolts. They are 18-7 in road game where total is 5.5 and 8-1 after scoring one goal or less in previous game. Raanta is not Hank but he’ll keep them in the game if they can score against leaky Vasilevskiy. I like the over as well.
Bs-Sens over – Two playoff bound teams fighting for a good spot. Sens have Stoner and Hoffman back and have improved through trades. This is going to be a great game and we should see at least 5 goals.
Sharks-Jets over – both teams, especially Jets, have been scoring a lot of goals lately. I like the TT for both squads.
GLTA
First thing I penciled in was Stars PL. Caps have come back to Earth a bit in the scoring dept. But that’s because Philly and NJ like to clog the middle of the ice and that’s where Caps feast. Let’s face it, Stars are bad defensively but the guys there are battling for their jobs. This could be a 3-2 Wash win. B/Sens game I kind of see as low scoring, but I have no statistical data to back this up. Well, I mean Sens have been really tightening the screws on the “D”. Anderson has been so darn good lately as well. I cannot bet against Rangers and their road prowess. Vasy has been very good, too. Tough call for me there but I would lean NY. My focus has been on this Jets/Sharks game. This one stands out the most to me. I am still waiting on some goalie news on the Sharks side and other nuggets of info.
Sharks beat writer indicates Dell in net tonight

I’m in bed with the Sharks tonight!
Don’t get anything important bitten off
Stars PL woo-hoo!
In the limited amount I saw of the game yesterday Sharks looked flat and listless, aren’t the Jets who have been on fire a good play today?
It sounds strange but I trust the Rags a lot more with Raanta in net and away from MSG. They need to start winning again as well.
I have a strong feeling Ottawa locks the Bruins down tonight and Anderson has been red hot the past month. Sens reg seems good.
Really wrestling with whether or not I trust there to be at least 6 goals in the Caps Stars game and take the over for double the odds compared to Caps reg.
In need of thoughts. Right now I’m leaning going
Cavs, Caps/Stars Over 5.5, Sens Reg, Rags Reg.
Tonight im taking sens ML, Rangers ML, Dallas TT over 2,5 and Jets-Sharks over 5,5!
Goals: Marchand and Laine
Washington Capitals -1.5 +115
Haven’t beat them by 2 goals in 20 games. Crazy stat but true ! Let’s see how it plays out I got Dallas
1.5
I noticed that 2, just Washington D this year is stellar compared to Dallas D and Goalies not so hot I think Caps run away with it.
good win bullet at least one of us won 🙂
The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior
good point sdb
Stars ML
Sens reg
Rangers – Lightnings Over 5.5
Jets reg
