Sorry about the delay in the tips today – the sportsbooks took awhile to get the line out for the Penguins game.
It was a 1-1 night last night with the NHL Tips.
We had the Devils/Maple Leafs to go over 6 goals and that hit 9 goals. The Devils were the big scorers in that one as they beat the Leafs 6-3. It was another solid performance by Schneider who had to make 47 saves and out of the 3 goals he conceded, 2 were power play goals.
The confidence a team has in a goalie really is such a big factor in the NHL. The Avs also displayed that last night in their victory over the Bruins. With Varlamov between the pipes they seem a different team.
We lost with the Penguins/Capitals Over 6 as that one only hit 5. There was a lot of close calls in the final 5 minutes for that one including a brutal empty net fail by the Penguins when they got caught offside getting too cute. Ovechkin also kept losing the puck during the 6 on 5 moments which was frustrating to see.
We move onto Thursday, October 12th with 7 games on the board and some intriguing games. I’m particularly looking forward to the Wings vs Coyotes game – I think it’ll be a good one to figure out where both teams are.

Penguins vs Lightning Betting Tips:
I was a bit disappointed in the Capitals yesterday – they didn’t really make a game of it as much as I’d have liked and that hurt the game going over.
We’re hoping for a much more competitive performance tonight from the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Tampa have played 3 games this season and all of them have been high scoring. The Tampa defense have hung Andrei Vasilevskiy out to dry a fair bit but the offense have been firing hot and I’m hoping for more of the same tonight.
These two had some thrillers last season – hell their last 10 games together have had at least 6 goals in them. You have to go back to November 2013 for the last time they went under. So let’s hope for another good game tonight.

Blackhawks vs Wild Betting Tips:
It’s been a struggling start for the Minnesota Wild and now they head to Chicago to take on the 3-0-1 Blackhawks.
The Blackhawks are putting in some terrific team performances at the moment and the Wild are playing without Parise and now Granlund.
Dubnyk was terrific last season but he’s off to a bad start with that pounding by Detroit where he let 4 goals past him. Now he’s going to have to step up big against the Blackhawks.
We think the Blackhawks will be too strong for them tonight. In saying that, the Blackhawks relied a fair bit on OT/SO wins last season so in that case we’re going to take that extra insurance of Blackhawks to win incl OT/SO.

Their opponent tonight is what’s causing me the biggest issue. I really struggled to predict Predators results last season and I’m already feeling the same way about them. This early on I’m going to skip it.
Stars are start clicking and Bishop has been better than Rinne. I also like the stats SOG vs SOG allowed and so on. GL mate!

Couple of reasons behind it. Minnesota was always complicated for hawks. Specially on home games.

Man you are really good…usually u have 1 wrong bet, thats really good but its me who is unlucky i always choose that one 🙁
Penguins lost but they are the best and they can be unbeatable in case of neccesity. Tampa weirdly in good form and not sure for how long they gonna keep it. Same thing goes for Vegas as well. Pretty fresh and new team but has great starts. It is because they are well motivated with advertisments and expectations. Looking forward to see when they ll start losing and take a place on bottom.

Did not look for games yet. I ll share them on the tonight topic as soon as I have.
San Jose and Arizona to win – money line.
Blues and Cats over – both teams have been scoring about 4 goals / game and the Cats having been giving up 4 goals / game. Both teams have speed but Cats are particularly young and speedy. Allen has been adequate, but not stingy. Luongo has been leaky. I have both teams TT 2.5 and 2+ first period. I’d be very surprised if this is a low scoring game.
Blackhawks should be all over the Wild tonight. I have ML, PL, regulation, TT 2.5 and ML first. BH dominate in every category and Wild have been terrible in their own end and on the PK. Parise and Granlund out for Wild.
Finally, I like the Red Wings to dominate the Yotes. Wings have been off to a great start, for them, while the Yotes are 0-fer and aren’t showing any signs of improving. Detroit has been outstanding on special teams and Howard has been very solid while Raanta is letting up 4+ / game. I have Detroit ML, regulation, TT 2.5 and to win 3rd period. They have been slow starting but have been killing it in the 2nd and 3rd periods. Injuries not a factor in this game.
