Well my bad luck continued as I went 0-2 last night with the tips.
Looking back at the tips from last night I wouldn’t change them. It seems as though there are lots of unexpected results so far this season.
Ovechkin scored again but the Sabres came away with the 3-1 over the Capitals. Okposo scored his first goal of the year for the Sabres in this game.
The Predators beat the Blue Jackets 3-1. The Preds were without the recently acquired Kyle Turris who is still going through the immigration process but should be available for Saturday’s game against the Penguins.
The Oilers beat the Islanders 2-1 in OT. The Kings beat the Ducks 4-3 in OT in what was an awesome game. The Habs beat the Knights 3-2 and Lindgren is 2-0 on the season.
Only 3 games today and only 1 tip. Let’s hope for a better result tonight.
Wild vs Maple Leafs Betting Tips:
The Wild are not getting the production needed from their big names. Staal scored in the last game but needs to be more consistent for the Wild.
This is the 2nd of 3 games the Leafs are playing at home. They won the first game against the Knights, although they almost lost it in true Leaf fashion when they were up 3-1 only to let Vegas back in it but managed to win 4-3 in a shootout.
Kadri scored twice for the 2nd time in 6 games. If he can continue to produce than that takes some of the pressure off of Matthews, Marner and Nylander and makes this team that much deeper.
The Leafs at home against a Wild team on a 2 game losing skid. I have to back the Leafs in this game.

You haven’t been around much, how are things? I don’t agree with Wild pick, I watched them and they are not a very strong team. Lots of trouble getting through the neutral zone with speed and not very organized in the offencive zone.

Wild was all about value for me, as the price in the morning was 3+ and i thought it was worth it, considering their domination over the Leafs. I thought they had some good games not too long ago and just underestimated the B’s, and for Toronto turning 1 win into a streak can often be tough when they’ve struggled.
Wild did outshoot Toronto 2:1 but obviously no dice.. Something is definitely not right in Minnesota. Have to probably watch the game and see what happened.

(but with Auston out, i have to try the Wild, so also 2 Units on the Wild)

I watched most of the Wild-Bruins game the other night and my takeaway was that the Wild just are not a very good team, and their 5-8 record bears that out. Being on the road in a hostile building versus a team that is scoring over 4 gpg isn’t going to make things any easier. Even though Matthews is out, I think TML get the W.
Bolts are 4-2 on the road and scoring almost 4.5 gpg in other barns. They are well rested and have no significant injuries. Sharks have great goaltending and very good D but they have not faced a team with the Bolt’s speed and offence. Tampa Bay gets the win.
Bruins-NYR over – Both teams have GF and GA over 3. If we don’t see 6+ goals today I’ll be surprised. I’m not picking a winner but both teams will be bringing it tonight so I expect a fast-paced game with lots of goals.
I have a couple of parlays with the above tips. Feeling most confident about Bruins-NYR over and Bolt’s win.

A short card including most sports today. Maybe we should blend them. Golden State faces the Boston Bruins and Toledo in a shootout at the 30-yard line?
I’m always interested to see what happens during the season when current top teams meet, so hot offense and a great defense with Tampa and San Jose; I predict UNDER because both teams can keep up to the other, and are good enough play makers to read plays happening, not make stupid mistakes and generally mess up each other to keep the score down. Watch them prove me wrong?
