A great night of hockey and a decent night with the tips as we went 2-1. But it was a close night.
First, with the line set at 5.5, we went with over in the Penguins vs Flyers game. The Penguins won 5-1 thanks to a 4 goal outburst in the 2nd.
Our other win of the night was the Caps to beat Canes and they did 5-4. Like it has been when the Caps play recently this game needed OT. But it was Ovechkin scoring his 2nd of the game to win it.
We had over in the Lightning vs Maple Leafs game and this didn’t happen. I said if I was to pick a winner i would go with Tampa but was more comfortable with the over. Yeah I was wrong. The Lightning won 2-0.
The Habs lost their 5th straight when they lost 4-1 to the Sharks. The Knights shutout the Preds 3-0 for their 8th win in a row.
A slow day with only two games. I could only come up with one tip.
Blackhawks vs Rangers Betting Tips:
The Hawks currently sit in 7th place in the Central and 11th in the West. They have won only once in their last 5 games and have lost 7 of the last 9 games when on the road. They are going to need to turn things around and quickly before the season gets away from them.
The Rangers are coming off of a win in the Winter Classic and sit in 4th place in the Metro. They play great at home going 15-6-3.
The Hawks are going to start Jeff Glass again with Crawford on the IR. Also on the IR for Chicago is Anisimov.
With the way these teams are playing I have to go with the Rangers to win. And this pains me to say.

Another superb night for those of you who tailed. Cashing in on a 10.35x return parlay was nice. My pick of the day cashed in with Ducks dominating the Canucks winning 5-0. The Ducks are team to watch right now. I’m going off shopping now to spend some of my winnings- make sure you do the same. No point in winning this money if you never see any of it outside the bookie account. I’m going to be avoiding the Rangers today simply because they’re struggling a bit form wise lately, and weren’t convincing winners against the Sabres. The Hawks aren’t anything special, but have had success in New York and have already beaten the Rangers 6-3 this season. With the Hawks having had some rest who knows how they may start the new year.
I have one pick-
Red Wings Reg/ML (70%/75%) – the wings haven’t been anything amazing this season, but have been picking up lately. They’ve won their last 3 at home to decent opponents in the Leafs, Pens and Rangers. They’ve won the last 3 meetings against the Sens in Detroit, and should he confident in beating a Sens side who have won 1 of their last 13 away games. The Sens are just a mess, and that’s the basis of this pick. I’ll play this light to medium today. Don’t go heavy. There will be better opportunities to lay it on heavy that today.

Enjoy man, glad to be of service. Yeah the Jets are simply one to fade on the road. 2-8 last 10 on the road before the Avs game gave me no reason to take them. Sure they’re a solid home team, and have occasional good away games they’re generally not.

Blackhawks-NYR over – Glass has let up 7 goals in his first two NHL games and BH are easily capable of 2+ goals.
NYR reg – I’d prefer ML but the line is -140 and that’s not enough value for me. With their home record and need to get points I see reg as a solid play

NYR have been super sloppy lately. Not sure if I trust them enough to take them on reg yet again.
I don’t disagree. It’s a small bet. They probably know they were fortunate to get the points in the last game. I watched most of the game and once they were up they started sitting back. I’m hoping they’ll step up for a team with more talent than Buffalo in front of their home crowd at MSG.
I’ll tail you. I doubted Scott on Caps and they pulled through, I’ll go with someone else judgement today for a change.

Sixers -3.5 (Embiid in and all kinds of guys out for the Spurs)
Small parlay of Rangers -1.5 Wings -1.5
As for CFB I had a big parlay of Georgia -2.5 Clemson +3.5 and got let down by Clemson big time. I don’t see that Georgia O-line or Fromm handling that rabid Alabama pass rush. I think they will suffocate Georgia’s run game as well. I see something like a 27-10 Alabama Final
I had UGA and Clemson too. But I had hedge bet that helped out.
Bama just eviscerated Clemson and UGA barely hung in there with OK. I’m with you and I’m putting some change on Bama to win. Not sure about the O/U. The Bama defense was formidable.
The O/U seems low for the Bama/UGA game, your thoughts?

With limited action today I started looking at tomorrow’s games. I’m seeing Anaheim and Vegas as underdogs. Any hesitation on your part to jump on this parlay??
Yeah man just had a look – Ducks certainly look sweet given the Oilers atrocious form atm. Vegas is a tough one because the Blues can sometimes surprise, but again every time I think the Knights may lose they don’t.
I’ll do my research! I learnt a good lesson yesterday, I used the 3 games from your parlay and thought I would throw in Ana/Van as an over:( never again.

I like the Kings tomorrow as well as Knights and Ducks. Kings are on a roll and have very good road form. Flames have been slumping and are only .500 at home. They haven’t played since NYE and will be rusty while Kings are one night away from good win vs Oilers. Kings goals differential has been significantly better than Flames in past 5. I like parlays with combos of these three teams.
I appreciate the insight SDB, my only concern is that TB puts Domingue in net tonight. That could be a possible game changer.
Perhaps a small concern but not a game changer for me.

I personally don’t feel Wings winning in reg. Can’t give you a concrete reason why.
Tbh I think if they win this it’s a reg win for them. Not many of their games have gone to OT and those that have they’ve lost par one. That being said I’ve taken them on reg and ML.

Rangers vs Blackhawks: Low scoring game and Blackhawks goes out winning by a suprise. And maybe A. DeBrincat will find the net. Rangers are a good team at home but Blackhawks have more rest coming into this game and in hockey evreything can happen!
Red Wings vs Ottawa: This can be a high scoring game 50/50. I think Red Wings will go out winning and T. Tatar scoring 1 or 2 goals. Ottawa are the worst away team in the leauge. But dont be suprised if Ottawa wins ML, so low unit on Red Wings 🙂

Yes true, but this isn’t roulette. This is skill based, at the end of the day the better team in better form etc usually wins. Look at Vegas- anything could happen meaning they could lose but generally haven’t. Anyway, 2 periods to go as you say. Just curious as to what attracted you to Send besides the better odds?
I was so confident lol I threw down some more when it was 1 zip late in 2nd. I don’t feel so bad or get stressed when it’s decent odds and I blow it.
I liked Ottawa today mainly because of the blow out embarrassment lose at home last game. I also felt they matched up fairly well with Detroit. I know Detroit has been rolling lately and I wasn’t going to touch it but my gut said hit it. lol
I’m not going to post every pick I play but when I like a game and feel there is good value for the dog I’ll throw it up here for people to chirp me or ride along !
