Hi all,
So just a quick note that this weekend we will be moving servers.
The only issue this will cause for some of you is you’ll see the website on the old server for a bit, while others will see it on the new server. So comments for example might be messed up for a day. It should all sort itself out within 24 hours.
What I will do is wait until Sundays tips have been posted. At that point I’ll move everything over so that even though you may not see all the comments based on what server you’re on, you’ll be able to see Sundays tips whether you’re on the old server or the new server.

The Kings look like a team playing with a purpose at the moment. They’ve started collecting wins and are coming into this game with 3 wins on the road and having won their last 3 home games.
They have some fight to them at the moment and that’s nice to see. We’re not ready to fully back them yet in regulation or anything though. Hell they’re actually an overall better team on the road.
Stars struggle on the road but after 2 harsh losses on this trip you wonder if they’ll be extra motivated for this one.
We’ll go with Kings to win including overtime/shootout.

Capitals vs Panthers Betting Tips:
Caps are always a hard team to back, and even moreso when they’re going on the road in Florida. I always hate betting against the Panthers when they’re at home.
However Caps have a decent enough record when visiting Florida over the last couple of years and the price is nice for the Capitals here. It’s a risky one but I think the price is good enough here for the Capitals.

Two extremely weak defenses here. Oilers are worse at home than on the road and Avs worse on the road than at home. Avs offense isn’t as great on the road but they’re on fire at the moment.
Oilers offense is concerning for sure but at home they’re usually good for a few goals.

Flames are more than just a goalie and with their road record I’m happy to throw a small bet on them here with them being underdogs. Caps IMO, are lazy. Last 5gms: 2/5W; 14GF; Barely beat Buf 3-2; lost to Hawks 7-1! Panthers were shutout by Leafs but had 40SOG & Luongo had 1GA; Last 5gms 19GF and 19GA (not great) but Luongo could come up big and Panthers work hard.

Decent plays but CBJ has been horrendous as of late and the Flyers are playing really good hockey, definitely not a 50/50 game. Tampa historically has been AWFUL in Ottawa and Domingue in net makes that game a stay away. Caps also hard to back-no heart and everytime I bet against Florida at home they burn me
Call it more of a gut feeling with Columbus then lol, feel like they will beat a divisional rival 2-1 win (just like new jersey), been second guessing the caps too, considering the pre game ceremony for shooting victims, could be an emotional game might switch to redwings reg. and lastly agreed with Tampa bad record but that has to change sometime (my guess)

Well the Flames are starting Jon Gillies from the Ahl; 31GP 14-12-2 & 4.35GA ( dailyfaceoff) Knowing that this one is hard to call. If the Flames back him up, a win is still possible.
Despite Gillies in net, more on that later, I think the Flames are a solid value. They are are 4-1-1 in the second half of back-to-backs when they lose the first game. They need points and have a good record vs Yotes. Finally, they are playing in front of their Moms and will not want to lose 2x in a row. Re: Gillies he has only come in as relief which is never a good barometer of how good a goalie is. He is a very solid goalie: in the AHL he has 14 wins, four shutouts – which is tied for first in the AHL, and a 2.61 GAA. The defence will tighten up around him. The Yotes are coming off a 5-day rest and every team is rusty after a long break.
The stats on dailyfaceoff for Gillies is misleading. They’ve got his GA at 4.35 instead of 2.61 and don’t even mention 4SO!

I actually think this is a good spot for Habs. They put up a fight and almost beat the Flyers. Rangers I think are resigned to losing this one.

They’ll get it done. Bell centre is a hard place to win at. Fans are electric and this is the worst Rangers side this season.

I may have been wrong about the Phaneuf to Kings trade. He’s done well, which coincides with the Kings doing OK too.
Regarding Ottawa, it’s season over for them and has been for a little while. I still think they’ll put up a fight against Tampa but Stamkos, Kucherov and Namestnikov are just too good.

Another sweet winning night last night, let’s hope to continues tonight! Taken a while to post because it’s such a large card today and wanted to find the best picks possible.
Today’s picks-
Leafs Reg (70%) – The Leafs are 11-3 in their last 14 and have won all 6 of their last home games. They shutout the Islanders the last time they came to town, and have won 4 of the last 5 h2h against them. The Isles just don’t know how to keep goals out, even if they put them in and that was shown in their loss to the Wild. Leafs win this, and in reg with superior offensive and defensive play.
Flames Reg/ML (60%/65%) – Coyotes are always a tricky team to bet against, but I don’t see the Flames dropping 4 games in a row, especially with playoff pressure and their mums watching. Gillies as SDB has pointed out is not that bad of a goalie, and he will want to prove himself. Coyotes have had 5 days off and I think that could lead to some considerable rust on their part. They’ve had a nice little run, but I think it ends today with a motivated Flames side trying to save face.
Bolts Reg (65%) – The bolts have had trouble against the Sens this season for some weird reason. They only managed an OT win in tampa and got hammered in Ottawa 6-3. Honestly, the Bolts may have dipped but if you remember that game the Bolts almost came back. With the Bolts potential and the Sens general potential to be shit, I’ve got to take Bolts to finally sweep aside the Sens to make a statement. Bruins are just 1 point behind the Bolts for the top of the East, and will want to extend that lead. Sens home wins have largely been against bad teams, and despite Tampa’s struggles against them this season, 3rd times the charm.
Habs reg/ML (70%/75%) – With the rangers issues, having no Grabner, Nash, Kreider, Mcdonagh and a rookie goalie in net is not a good thing. This team is literally a patchwork right now, and even though Habs have had their issues (a lot of them) and have no Price I think the Rangers are resigned to losing this one before it’s even begun. Habs almost took the game from the Flyers, and today they rack up a messy win to end the slide against a Rangers side that is simply far from ready to play right now.
Kings ML (65%) – Stars have had success in L.A., and don’t lose three in a row frequently. That being said Kings are hot right now, and making a playoff push. The Ducks unseated them from their playoff spot last night, and I expect them to take it back in front of their home crowd tonight.
I have other leans which I may make plays- such as Wild ML, Oilers and Wings. For now however these are my plays. If I add anymore I’ll update this.

If you wanna watch it on a tablet or phone NHL is on most betting apps for free. 365 and Betfair for example.
Go to reddit nhl games. There is a huge list of links for games. Look for the verified/trusted ones. Get a few ads you need to close, but they’re fine otherwise.
