Sorry about the late tips today with so many early games – twas a late night last night.
Went to see Letterkenny Live. Great show and if you’re in Canada and get the chance to go see it, do so. The highlight of it for sure was Mark Forward doing stand-up.
It was one of those nice nights in the NHL where the teams you look at and think should win, actually do. The Wild, Blue Jackets and Flames all got good wins. The Stars also made a 3rd period comeback to beat the Ducks.
It’s Saturday, March 10th and games start SOON with a lot of early games today. Pitter patter, let’s get at ‘er.
Bruins vs Blackhawks Tips:
This is a bit of a tricky one because the Bruins record has been a bit weak in the last couple of weeks. And the games between the two are always close. But I mean most of them were the old Blackhawks. The two haven’t played this season yet.
I’m slightly wary that Blackhawks will raise their game against the Bruins, however they’re still a struggling team and I’d think regardless of the Blackhawks performances lately, Bruins will be motivated for it due to their team rep.
I do have a few concerns however so we’ll do a 0.5u play on the Bruins in Regulation.

Jets vs Flyers Betting Tips:
I’ll be honest – I actually think Flyers could pull off the W here to snap their losing streak.
But I think the price dictates placing a bet on the Jets. Just look at the quality of both teams. The Jets since losing to Nashville in that big game have put up 4 wins in a row and are looking motivated.
Hellebuyck is on fire and the key players like Laine are stepping up.
Jets should be bigger favourites today and are even underdogs at most books. I’ll take Jets incl OT/SO for 0.5u.

Avalanche vs Coyotes Betting Tips:
I don’t feel fully confident in the Avs here, but I’m going to back them.
They picked off points in games against the Jackets and Preds. They’re 1 point behind the Kings in the wild card race and still within touching distance of the Wild in the Central.
Regardless of the Coyotes recent achievements, they’re still the worst team in the NHL in terms of points.
If the Avs are a playoff team, after their recent points run and beating the key teams like the Wild, they just HAVE to win here.
This is one of those games I like because like I said I feel no pressure on this tip – I feel like it’s the Avs that have the pressure because if they’re a playoff team, they beat the worst team in the NHL convincingly at home.
