What an insane night of NHL action that was.
It was full of goals – well except for our lone tipped game as the Oilers/Flames could only rustle up 1 goal between them for a losing night.
I went to look to see the last time the two had just a 1 goal game and I gave up looking when I got to 2004. What a disappointment that was.
Still I think it could have been much worse with some real bloodbaths out there last night. The Tampa Bay Lightning lost to the Ottawa Senators as the Sens have taken two big scalps in two days now.
The Bruins….WOW. I feel bad for all the Hurricanes betters out there who thought theirs was locked in. That was insane and something really great to see at this time of the season.
That was a big night of hockey and an exciting one. Speaking of exciting – man it was good to see Tiger Woods right back in the thick of things last week at the Valspar. Was nice too as usually when I go to a sports bar to watch the final round of the golf, I’ll be lucky if it’s on one TV and I’ve got to ask them to change it, or just watch it on my phone. This Sunday every freaking TV in the place had it on and there was a crowd of people there purely to watch Tiger.
I’ve backed him again this week – you can read that and more in my Arnold Palmer Invitational Betting Tips post.
Penguins vs Rangers Betting Tips:
Let’s hope the goals continue tonight.
Rangers offense has been on fire the last few games while still conceding a bunch. They beat the Hurricanes 6-3 here 2 nights ago and I’m hoping for a similar performance from them.
Pens have had 7 straight road games go over and these two teams usually have a good competitive battle and I’m backing that to continue tonight.
Over 6 Goals incl OT/SO
That’s the only play tonight.
