We went 1-1 yesterday. Sorry for the delay with the tips. My son had a dentist appointment this morning.
The Leafs had their home win streak stopped at 13 games when the Sabres won 3-2 thanks to two goals from Eichel. We had gone with the Leafs -1.5 as the way these teams had been playing it seemed as though it was a safe tip. The Leafs will look to their next game to set their franchise record for wins in a season.
Our win of the night was the Kings in regulation against the Flames and the Kings won 3-0. With the win the Kings moved into 7th and the first wildcard spot, tied with the Ducks for 3rd in the Pacific Division but have played one more game than the Ducks.
The Golden Knights beat the Avalanche 4-1 clinching a playoff spot in their first season becoming the 1st expansion team to do so in their first season. Truly amazing. With the mass shooting thay happened in Vegas earlier in the year it was nice to see something great happen to this incredible city.
The Panthers picked up a huge win when they beat the Islanders 3-0. The win put them one point back of the Devils for the final wild card spot. With the loss, the Isles were eliminated from the playoffs for the second year in a row. Let the Tavares drama begin.
A busy night of hockey for us with 9 games. It’s that time of the year though where some games have zero meaning in the standings while others have huge playoff implications.
Despite the number of games there is nothing that is jumping out at us and we won’t have any tips for today. Be sure to chat in the comment section and discuss the action in there.
