We had a perfect night with the tips yesterday going 3-0.  But all three were close and could have went either way.

We had the Panthers to beat the Bruins and this was a really close game that was tied late in the 3rd.  But with around 5 minutes left McCann scored for Florida and they won 3-2 and kept their playoff hopes alive.  They now need to win both of their remaining games and hope that the Flyers lose on regulation against the Rangers on Saturday.

Speaking of the Flyers, we had them to beat the Hurricanes in regulation which they did.  This game was tied late and Voracek scored for the Flyers and they held on for the 4-3 win.  They now have a 4 point lead over the Panthers and can secure a spot with a win on Saturday.

Our final tip was the Canucks to beat the Coyotes and this was also a close one that couldn’t have ended any better.   Daniel scored the OT winner with the assist going to Henrik.  Daniel had two goals, Henrik two assists.  The crowd was nuts during this game, giving standing ovations anytime they could.  The Canucks mobbed the twins when they won the game and the Coyotes players even banged their sticks to recognize the two.  Just a great moment for the Sedins and the Canuck fans.

The Devils beat the Leafs and for the first time in 5 years are going back to the playoffs.

The Preds beat the Caps 4-3 and clinched not only the Western Conference but the Presidents Trophy for the first time in franchise history.  They looked great last year making the finals as the #16 seed.  Let’s see how they do being the #1 seed.

Only 4 games today and nothing I like.  The Blues are in Chicago to take on the Hawks looking to avenge their loss to them a couple days ago.  The Blues are chasing the Avs for the final wildcard spot and play each other on Saturday which could be a crazy game depending on the outcome of today’s action.  The other games are mismatches with bad odds between teams already clinched vs teams already eliminated.

Tomorrow is a day full of hockey with 15 games.  Hopefully tomorrow I’ll be able to come up with tips but for today I have no tips.
