It was a nice and long day of hockey with 13 games and we managed to go 1-1.
We had the Canadiens vs Senators game to go Over 6. This game got off to a great start when the Habs jumped out to a 3-1 lead after the 1st period. The Sens came back with 2 of their own in the 2nd to tie the game at 3-3. No goals in 3rd. In OT Mark Stone scored his 2nd of the game to give the Sens the 4-3 comeback win.
Our loss was the Ducks to win against the Knights. Vegas scored the the first two goals of the game and won 3-1. Fleury picked up the win and is now in 10th place on the all time wins list which is really incredible when you see the names on the list that are around him. The Knights were the better team in this one outshooting the Ducks 45-18.
The Hawks won 4-1 and in only his 2nd game in 10 months, Corey Crawford looked awesome stopping 37 shots for his first win of the season. The Preds blanked the Oilers 3-0 for their 5th win in a row, the Sabres won 5-1 against the Kings for their first win in LA since 2003 and the Blues scored 3 unanswered in the 2nd and easily beat the Leafs 4-1.
A much slower night with only 3 games. There isn’t much today that jumps out so I have only one tip.
Lightning vs Blackhawks Betting Tips:
After opening the season scoring only 3 goals in their first two games, the Lightning have scored 19 goals over their last 4 games. They are now ranked 9th in GPG with 3.50.
The Blackhawks have looked great so far this year. After a such a lousy season they’re off to a good start going 4-1-2 and are ranked 3rd in the league in GPG with 3.86. Debrincat and Kane are leading the team with 7 goals each.
Both teams are off to good starts and I dont feel comfortable picking a winner. Both teams played yesterday so with no time to rest I expect a high scoring game between two top 10 offenses. I’ll go with a half unit bet on the Over.
