It was a super busy day of hockey and from all of those games we had 7 tips and we went 4-3.
First we had the Preds to beat the Bruins in regulation. This game was super close. The Preds scored in the 2nd and that was all the offense in this game as the Preds won 1-0.
Next our system really liked the over in the Wild vs Blues game and so did we. We went with the over 5.5 and this one was another close one but it came through for us when the Wild won 5-1. Eric Stall scored his 400th career goal in this one.
We had the Oilers to beat the Red Wings in regulation and believe it or not this one was also a close one but the Oilers won 4-3. The Wings scored late to make it a close game but the Oilers held on for the win.
Next we had the Flames to beat the Blackhawks in regulation and they did when they won 5-3. The Hawks were up 3-2 after the 2nd but the Flames scored 3 unanswered in the 3rd for the win.
We had Over 6 in the Lightning vs Canadiens game but this one went under when the Bolts won 4-1. We also had Over 6 in the Devils vs Islanders game but the Isles won 3-0. Our final loss was the tip of the Jackets to beat the Kings but the Kings came away 4-1 winners. The Kings scored 2 shorthanded goals in this game, one on a penalty shot.
Only 3 games today for us and only 1 tip. But the tip covers all 3 games.
Grand Salami Betting Tip:
The Grand Salami is an Over/Under for all of the games being played. You add up all of the goals scored for all teams playing that day and you bet on if the number of goals will be over or under.
For today’s game we like the over. It’s at 17.5 so we will need each game to hit 5.83 goals, so basically 6.
The Lightning are a high scoring team and ranked 6th in GPG with 3.46. The Sens just got their asses kicked so they’ll be looking to get back on track. They allow the most goals against per game in the league with 4.23.
The Sabres are coming off of scoring 9 against the Sens so this is going to help them with confidence moving forward. The Rangers have had some high scoring games recently with totals of 5, 7 and 7 over their last 3 games.
The last game of the night is the Blue Jackets vs the Ducks. This game is the one I’m most worried about for going over. But the Ducks are on a huge slide losing 7 in a row. This is the last game of their 4 game home run so they need to end this streak before heading on the road.
