We went 0-1 with a push with the tips yesterday.
I went with the Penguins to win in regulation against the Devils. I thought that since the Pens were looking to get back in the win column after dropping 3 in a row, including the pounding they took from the Leafs the game before, that they would show some life. I was wrong. Instead it was the Devils ending their losing streak and picking up their first road win of the season when they won 5-1. Brian Boyle scored a natural hat trick in this game for the Devils. It’s amazing that Boyle scored his first hat trick on Hockey Fights Cancer Night. Nobody more fitting than Boyle to do this.
Our push was the tip of over 6 in the Oilers vs Capitals game. This game got off to a great start with 3 goals in 1st and 3 more in the 2nd. But the offense stopped completely in the 3rd and it was the Caps winning 4-2 hitting 6 and giving us the push.
The Habs beat the Isles 4-3 in a shootout ending the Isles win streak at 5 games. Montreal was down 3-1 after the 1st but came back to tie it.
There is so much happening in the league right now from the leaked uber video of some Sens players talking badly of their team to the Blackhawks firing Joel Quenneville who won 3 cups with the Hawks and is one of the best coaches ever. This is better than any tv show.

Golden Knights vs Maple Leafs Betting Tips:
The Knights havent been a great road team so far this year where they are 2-5 away from Las Vegas. The Leafs have been the opposite where they are a perfect 6-0 away from Toronto.
The Leafs beat the Penguins 5-0 on Saturday night which was their first win since Matthews went down with an injury. I think the momentum gained from not only beating the Penguins but from winning without their young superstar is going to help the Leafs in this game.

Oilers vs Lightning Betting Tips:
This game has the potential to be a high scoring one. Last season only 3 players hit 100 or more points and 2 of those players are involved in this game.
Offensively this game should go over. The Oilers are averaging 3 GPG and the Lightning are 3.5. McDavid has 22 points in 14 games and has been held pointless only once this year. The Lightning get their points from the whole team as they have 7 players already with 10 points.
This should be a great game and I like there to be goals.

Hurricanes vs Blues Betting Tips:
The Canes opened the season looking great but have since come crashing back to earth on a 2-6-1 streak and come into this losing 4 in a row.
The Blues are a better team then their record would suggest. I’m not sure what’s holding them back but we are coming to a point in the season where they will need to turn things around before it gets to far out for them to get back into it.
The Canes are dealing with an injury to Mrazek so they will be going with Darling or McElhinney in goal. Seems like a perfect time for the Blues to bounce back
