A perfect night with the tips yesterday as we went 3-0
We had the Leafs to win against the Knights. The Leafs scored first and never trailed when they won 3-1. Andersen made 36 saves for the win and if not for him this game would have went much differently as the Knights were the better team through the first 2 periods.
Next we had over 6 in the Oilers vs Lightning game. The Lighting won 5-2. Stamkos and Kucherov were doing what they do best. Kuch scored twice and added an assist while Stamkos scored and had 2 helpers. McDavid went pointless for only the 2nd time this season.
Our last tip was the Blues to beat the Hurricanes. The Blues jumped out to a 3-1 lead after the 1st period and that was it really for the offense. They added an empty net goal with just under 4 minutes left and won 4-2. Thanks to that empty net goal O’Reilly scored a hat trick in this one. Fabbri scored the other goal for the Blues which was his first in almost 2 years thanks to injuries.
The Devils jumped out to a 2-0 lead against the Sens and it looked as though this would be yet another kick to the team after the video surfaced but Ottawa stormed back. They scored 6 unanswered and won 7-3.
Overall it was a great night of hockey and tips. As usual it’s a slower Wednesday with only 3 games. I couldnt come up with any tips for today.
Game Analysis:
Penguins vs Caps:
This is normally a game I would be tipping the Over but I dont feel confident with that for today. The last time these teams played each other it hit 13 when the Caps won 7-6 in OT. But the Pens arent scoring right now. They are on a 4 game losing streak scoring only 6 times in those games.
Predators vs Avalanche:
I was leaning towards the Preds in this one and they are a perfect 6-0 on the road this season and the Avalanche have lost 3 straight. But Colorado hasn’t played since Friday so with all of the extra time to work on their issues and having to think about the losing streak has me off of this game.
Flames vs Ducks:
The Flames on a 4 game winning streak. The Ducks lost their last game after beating the Jackets to stop their losing streak at 7 games. Over the last 10 meetings between these teams the Ducks are 8-2 and it’s that stat that has me staying away from this game.
