We ended up having no tips yesterday thanks to the Devils starting Kinkaid.
I had said that we would take the Sharks in regulation if the Devils started Schneider. They started Kinkaid and of course the Sharks won 5-2.
The Penguins beat the Islanders 2-1 in a shootout. The Wings beat the Kings 3-1. The Lightning beat the Rangers 6-3 and Stamkos continued his strong play scoring a hat trick and reaching 700 points for his career.
After a slow day we get a nice busy one with 10 games.
Maple Leafs vs Hurricanes Betting Tips:
The Leafs are still looking for their first win since getting Nylander signed.
The Canes are without McElhinney and Staal for this game.
The Leafs have been a good road team this year going 11-4. They want nothing more than to get that win with Willy out of the way so why not in today’s game against a banged up Hurricanes team.
Also getting some decent odds for a Leafs win including overtime so I’m going with that.

Oilers vs Avalanche Betting Tips:
The Oilers have turned things around with Hitchcock behind the bench. They have gone 7-2-1 with Hitch as coach and are riding a 3 game win streak.
The Avalanche have hit a bump in the road after having such a great run. They had only lost once in regulation since November 9th but in their last game they got pounded by the Lightning 7-1.
The Oilers have the momentum going for them too thanks to picking up a huge win against their rival, and Pacific leading, Flames. I am going to back them until they give me a reason not to.

Coyotes vs Bruins Betting Tips:
The Coyotes are dealing with some crucial injuries right now. Their number one goalie Antti Raanta could be out for the season and backup Darcy Kuemper is still out. Adin Hill has been good for them while those two are out going 4-2. But the Coyotes have lost 2 in a row and now get to take on a team that has owned them.
The Bruins had a great weekend winning back to back games. They have won against the Coyotes 13 games in a row. That’s not a typo.
So they dominate the Coyotes and are at home where they have gone 10-3 this year. I’m going with the Bruins in this one.
