Only the one tip yesterday. And it didnt come through for us.
We had the Capitals to win in regulation against the Sabres. This was a close game and it was the Caps winning 4-3 but it needed a shootout for the 2nd night in a row. Ovechkin scored again extending his point streak to 14 games and his 7th goal in the last 3 games.
It was a good day of action across the league though.
The Leafs game was a crazy one. The Panthers were up 2-0 halfway through the 3rd but the Leafs scored twice to tie it. The Panthers answered the 2nd Leaf goal by scoring one of their own 27 seconds later. With just over a minute and a half left in the period the Leafs tied it again forcing OT where the Panthers won it on a goal by Barkov which was his third of the game and first hat trick of his career.
The Habs scored 4 times in the 3rd on their way to a 5-2 win against the Sens. The Avs beat the Stars 6-4 and MacKinnon and Rantanen continued their strong play, MacKinnon had a goal and 3 assists and Rantanen scored twice. These two are 1 and 2 in the league in points.
A nice day full of hockey with 7 games scheduled. I looked over each game and could only come up with two tips from the same game. The first game today starts at 12:30 PM Est so I have to keep these quick so people have time to discuss in the comments.
