Two tight affairs last night and both games ended in regulation at 2-1.
The Penguins got a confidence boosting road win with Matt Murray on board as they unfortunately beat the Capitals 2-1 in Washington.
The Habs lost 2-1 on the road in Colorado.
Bit late today with the tips. Apologies for that. Busy night with a lot of interesting games.

Blackhawks vs Stars Betting Tips:
Love me the Dallas Stars at home.
It will take a lot for me not to back them here. Blackhawks don’t have that lot.
Yes it’s a rivalry game and the Blackhawks are coming in off the back of a few decent results. All that means is that the odds are good enough for us to actually bet the Stars.
Klingberg is back tonight and hopefully that helps the Stars too.
There are bets every season that we make where it’s almost automatic and for me Stars at home is one of them.

Jets vs Sharks Betting Tips:
Speaking of those “automatic bets” – Jets to bounce back were one last season and for the most part they look to be a bounce back team again. Only once this season have they not bounced back – they lost 6-3 to the Flames in late November then lost 4-2 against Minnesota.
Of course that bears eerie similarities to tonights game where they take on the Sharks. Jets also haven’t won in regulation in four games and that’s a concern.
Sharks are starting to look like that team we all expected at the beginning of the season. They’ve won 7 of their last 8 with a loss against Dallas on the road. Can’t blame them for that.
I’m not sure if Jets will bounce back here – but I do think they will make the effort and raise their game. Jones is coming off a shutout and if he is abile to stop one of the best offenses in the NHL then full credit to him but it’ll take a massive effort.

Leafs vs Panthers Betting Tips:
After two losses the Leafs bounced back with an excellent win against the New Jersey Devils.
I like them to keep that going at home here against the Panthers.
They’ll be out for revenge after that loss in Florida and that will motivate them.
The Panthers are coming off the back of two solid performances and are a tough team but I just think the Leafs will be too much for them here.
