A 1-2 night last night as both our favourite bets lost and our underdog play won.
Both the favourites – the Jets and the Lightning – blew a third period lead to allow the Sharks and Knights back in it. Both road teams then were able to take the game in overtime.
We won with a fun Blackhawks vs Oilers game. It was looking tight and Oilers led going into the third but they also blew a lead and the Blackhawks steamrolled them to win 6-2. Like I was saying when Oilers were playing Philly – if Oilers go in with a third period lead by 1-2 goals, live bet against them. They just don’t seem to have the steam right now or the ability to protect those leads.

It’s Wednesday, February 6th 2019 and we’ve got just two games on the board. The Battle of Ontario sees the Toronto Maple Leafs hosting the Ottawa Senators, and the New York Rangers host the Boston Bruins.
Leafs vs Senators Betting Tips:
This is one of those tips where you almost question if you’re making it simply because there is so little to choose from.
I’m going with the Over 6.5 Goals.
Regardless of team form at that time, the Battle of Ontario is usually always a highly competitive game.
Senators come into this having lost 4 in a row including their two games post all star break. However I’ve got to think they’ll be up for this one.
Leafs should be as well especially with them losing to the Sens in the first game they played this season. Revenge has to be in their minds. Matthews signing that 5 year deal has to give them a big boost too.
They’ve got to be confident too with the pickup of Jake Muzzin who is looking like a really solid addition.
Leafs should dominate this one – and when they dominate they score the goals. I’m hoping they either do the job on their own, or the Sens at least are able to match them. Leafs -1.5 may seem a better play however I’ve been concerned with some Leafs performances lately and the Sens might be very up for this one.
Like I said it’s possible I am going with this due to how little there is to choose from – great NHL scheduling again with 2 games, 14 games then 1 game on Friday – so we’ll go with a small play.
