Only three games yesterday and one tip.
I went with over 6.5 in the Penguins vs Flyers game but it stayed under when the Pens won 4-1. A goal by the Flyers got called back which surprised everyone including the play by play guys. I have to wonder how much that changed things for the Flyers and what would have been the score had they got that call right in the first place. They were flying in the 2nd and took a franchise record 28 shots alone in that period. But no point in dwelling on it. It’s over and we lost.
The Caps beat the Kings 6-4 and Kuznetsov had 4 points. He now has 6 goals and 6 assists in the 6 games since the all-star break. The final game of the night was the Sharks vs the Canucks and the Sharks won with ease 7-2. It was the NHL debut for Canucks goalie Mike DiPietro and the teen didnt have a great game allowing all 7 goals.
We are expected to have a huge snowstorm in our area so all schools have been closed. So another day of trying to find something for my three kids to do that doesnt involve them kicking the shit out of each other.
A nice busy night with 12 games. I have to keep these short as my kids cant be alone for long until stuff starts to get thrown.
Hurricanes vs Senators Betting Tips:
The Canes have been playing some decent hockey going 3-1-0 on their road trip and 6-2-1 over their last 9. They are only 3 points behind the Pens for the final wildcard spot.
The Sens have won 2 in a row but have gone 4-6 over their last 10.
Canes have more to play for and are the better team here.

Leafs vs Avalanche Betting Tips:
The Leafs need to pick up as many points as they can as we are getting closer to the playoffs. They’re only 1 point ahead of the Bruins and 2 ahead of the Habs who are in one of the wildcard spots.
The Avalanche are on a 7 game losing skid. They haven’t had a lot of success at home going 10-10-5 and currently sit 4 points out of the playoffs.
I like the Leafs in this one as they try to get back into the win column.

The Flames are in 2nd place in the West and trail the Sharks by only one point but have 3 games in hand over them.
The Lightning are in first place in the East and the league by a comfortable margin. They are 11 points ahead of the next closest team in the league, the Sharks and 14 ahead of the Isles in the East.
Flames are the 3rd ranked offense with 3.67 GPG and the Lightning are 1st with 3.80.
