We had three tips yesterday and went 1-2.
We had the Caps to beat the Sabres but Buffalo came out swinging scoring the first two goals of the game and came away 5-2 winners. Ovechkin scored again which was his 44th of the year.
We also had the Bruins to continue their hot streak and beat the Blues but the Bruins had their 7 game win streak snapped when the Blues won 2-1 in a shootout.
Our last tip was our only winning tip. We had the Habs vs Leafs game to go over 6 and it did when the Leafs won 6-3. The Leafs were down 3-2 after the 2nd but Toronto stormed back scoring 4 in the 3rd including two empty net goals.
Tomorrow is the trade deadline and there has already been some moves. The Blue Jackets have acquired two Senators in separate trades bringing in Matt Duchene and Ryan Dzingel. The Jackets responded well to the moves shutting out the Preds 5-0. Duchene scored his first goal as a Jacket and added an assist. The Stars made a couple of moves too bringing in Ben Lovejoy and Mats Zuccarello. They are currently in the first wildcard spot but only by a single point .
Should be interesting to see what happens between now and tomorrow at 3:00 pm est with all the moves that will happen.
For today we have 6 games scheduled with great start times for a day full of hockey.
Flames vs Senators Betting Tips:
The Flames have won 4 in a row and now get to take on a team who is completely tearing their roster apart.
Not only are Duchene and Dzingel gone buts its reported that Stone will soon be moved also. The Sens are in for a world of hurt moving forward.
I can’t see this game going any other way but for the Flames.

Sharks vs Red Wings Betting Tips:
The Sharks got destroyed last night losing 5-0 to the Avlanche so I expect them to get back in the win column in this one.
The Wings have struggled all year and ride a 4 game losing streak into this game.
The Sharks are now 3 points behind the Flames for top spot in the Pacific and we are at the point in the season where you have to be at your best to better position yourself for the playoffs.
I expect the Sharks to bounce back in this game.

I had said yesterday I couldn’t find KHL playoff future betting for each series but I found them. At 888 Sports. Search for KHL then when you bring that up, click on “Outrights” which is at the top centre. Can’t find it for Americans unfortunately.

Based on my betting system, it likes:
– Strong confidence on Mettalurg Mg to win their series. They are 1.54.
– Thinks Dynamo Moscow could pull off an upset against Jokerit. They are 2.16.
– Isn’t as convinced on Lokomotive as the sportsbooks are (at 1.18). Thinks they should be more about 1.6.
– Thinks home ice will be the deciding factor for Avangard. They are 1.80.
– Likes Avtomobilist but 1.07 .
– Thinks Barys will crush but 1.45.
– CSKA are 1.03 so yeaaaah. Ditto with SKA.
Based on that, I am placing the following bets at 888 Sports:
– 1u double on Metallurg/Barys at 2.23 odds. If you want to chuck CSKA/SKA in there to push it to 2.37 go for it but I wouldn’t bother.
– 0.5u play on Dynamo Moscow at 2.16 odds.
– 1u play on Avangard at 1.80 odds.
