Last night was game 1 of the Blue vs Sharks series and the Sharks won 6-3. The Sharks are a team stacked with veteran stars but it was a 22 year old who made a huge difference. Timo Meier scored twice and added an assist in the win. Couture also scored twice, his 2nd an empty net goal, and now has 11 this postseason.
Game 2 is Monday night.
Today we have game 2 of the Hurricanes vs Bruins series and the Bruins won the first game 5-2.
Hurricanes vs Bruins Game 2 Betting Tips
Graeme: In terms of how the game ran out, the Hurricanes were unlucky. They had a 2-1 lead going into the third, then a couple of B2B penalties put the Bruins up 3-2.
The price on the Hurricanes is too good to ignore in my opinion. They were able to win in Washington, and beat the Islanders twice on the road in tight ones.
I’m not fully convinced the Canes can win – when you are up and lose a game in that circumstance it can be a real mental issue – but I just think there is solid value on the Hurricanes going into this one.
0.5u on Hurricanes incl OT/SO
Scott: The Bruins looked good in their game 1 win. But the biggest surprise was what Marchand didn’t do. Jordan Stall boarded the Bruins Conner Clifton who responded by trying to put Stall in a headlock but it was Marchand who pulled Clifton away to avoid a penalty. On the powerplay the Bruins scored. Is the Little Ball of Hate showing us a new side of himself?
After game 1 and with the series still in Boston I like the Bruins to win this game and take a 2-0 series lead before it shifts to Carolina
