A stunning performance from the Boston Bruins yesterday, as they take a 2-0 lead and shatter the Carolina Hurricanes confidence with a huge 6-2 win in Boston.
It’s going to make for an interesting decision going into Game 3, goaltending wise. Petr was beaten 6 different times yesterday however it was more the defence that was garbage and turned off. He has been a beast at home but there’s also a legit case to put McElhinney in. It’s going to be a difficult decision for the Canes.
We’ll talk more about that one tomorrow.
Today we turn our attention to St. Louis Blues vs San Jose Sharks Game 2. This series got off to a feiry start with a 9 goal thriller and let’s hope for more of that. Although Blues fans won’t feel the same way we expect!
Blues vs Sharks Game 2 Betting Tips:
Graeme: We both went with the Sharks to win the series and Game 1 felt good to see. The Sharks offense got the goals in past Binnington which was very key to them winning. He was the only factor I was really concerned about and that is a big confidence boosting win.
We’ve learned that the Sharks offense doesn’t really switch off and keep going strong. Blues when they concede the goals don’t generally tighten up too much either.
One thing I thought going into this series was that a deciding point would be the Blues offense not being able to keep up with the Sharks offense. I think they’ll try their best to do that here and we get a high scoring game out of it.

Scott: Scott: The Sharks capitalized on all of the Blues turnovers and turned it into a 6-3 victory. They are getting help from up and down their lines and look a team that has a shot at winning it all.
The Sharks have won the first game in each of the first 2 series only to lose game 2 both times. With the Blues needing a strong bounce back game and with the Sharks history in game 2’s I’m going to back the Blues in this one
