Game 5 of the San Jose Sharks vs St. Louis Blues game and it returns to San Jose where they both split wins.
Jordan Binnington stepped up big in Game 4 to help the St. Louis Blues get the victory.
It’s a big game and the Sharks will have to hope they can perform in the Shark Tank. It’s a crucial game for the Sharks but they have proven that in critical times, they can step up big. As the Knights know only too well.
Here’s our thoughts:
Scott: The Sharks are home for a crucial game 5. When a series is tied 2-2 the winner of this game has a huge advantage of moving on to the finals. Overall the winners of this game are 19-8 for winning the series.
With this being such a huge game and with it being in San Jose I’m going to back the Sharks here. They are due to have a big game and a better start than in game 4. I originally called the Sharks in 6 but said I wouldnt be surprised if it went 7 games. It sure looks like it may do just that.
Sharks win incl OT/SO – 0.5u
Graeme: I just find it hard not to back the Sharks. I figured the Blues would win the last game and do it in a low scoring affair and I’m feeling the Sharks in this one.
At home, you can generally count on the Sharks offense and I just don’t think the Blues offense will do enough to keep up with them.
I see it being a 4-2 type of result for the Sharks.
Sharks win incl OT/SO – 0.5u
