Welcome to the NHL 2019/2020 season and the beginning of our free daily NHL betting tips!
We’ve had an incredible 7 winning seasons here at BetNHL.ca with the NHL Betting Tips and we’re hoping we can make it 8!
Of course there are no promises and no guarantees. We say this every season and will continue to say it: don’t blindly trust us. Read our opinions and use that as a basis if you want; however make your own mind up. Read previews, look at stats, post in our comments and discuss etc – form your own opinion and bet based on that.
Variance is a bitch – especially in hockey – and 7 winning seasons doesn’t magically mean we’re going to win 8. During the season there’ll be stretches where we win a bunch and stretches where we lose a bunch. There’ll be games where we called perfectly and games where we are left stunned and scratching our heads at being so wrong. (See: every NHL gambler who bet Tampa in the playoffs last year).
Make sure to bet within your means. We’ve written articles on bankroll management in the past that you can find in our blog. However in short; take a fixed amount that is going to be your NHL bankroll for the season. Break it down to 100 units. Then bet with “units” as opposed to the currency.
We wrote an article on Where To Bet the NHL 2019/2020 Season with a list of the sportsbooks we recommend. We’d advise getting accounts at all of them. Of course we know people don’t want to spend all that time. So at the very least, have accounts at the following sportsbooks:

Wherever you are based – take 5 minutes and sign up at whatever sportsbooks above you don’t have an account at. Down the road you can add more sportsbooks but they are the key ones.

BTW it’s a long season. No need to go balls to the wall with bets right at the beginning. We know everyone is excited but the early season is full of surprises.

Sharks vs Golden Knights Betting Tips:
These teams have developed quite the rivalry. In last years playoffs they need OT in game 7 of the first round for the series to be decided. On Sunday in the preseason finale for both teams in got crazy at the end. The Knights won 5-1 and the game had 114 penalty minutes.
With this being the first game of the season I expect the Knights to try and get some revenge from the elimination at the hands of the Sharks in the postseason. The Sharks are a strong team and will be ready for whatever the Knights throw at them.
