It was a night where the home teams did their thing. There was 3 games and all of them were won by the home team.
We went with over 6 in the Habs vs Sabres game. This went over went the Sabres won 5-4 in OT. Sabres rookie Victor Olofsson scored again and now has 4 goals in 4 games this season.
Graeme had said he was digging the Canucks last night but the odds weren’t that good for a OT/SO win. Well the Canucks made sure that wasn’t a problem. They scored early and often when they beat the Canucks 8-2. Free agent pickup JT Miller had 4 points in the win. The Canucks named Bo Horvat the 14th captain in team history before the game started. Quinn Hughes scored his first goal in this one.
The final game of the night was the Devils vs the Flyers and the Flyers won 4-0. Carter Hart picked up his first career shutout in this one.
In yesterdays poll, the community went 2-1 by picking the Canucks and Sabres. You lost with the Devils over Flyers although that was only 89 votes to 85 so quite a tight one. New poll below!
A nice and busy night for us with 11 games.
Lightning vs Leafs Betting Tips:
This game has the potential to be the game of the night and week. Two of the best offenses in the league looking to flex their muscles.
Both teams have lost 2 in a row so they will both be looking to get back on track. The Lightning have played 3 games this year and all 3 have hit 7 goals. With a team like Toronto being the opponent you have to think that this trend will continue.
Point may return to the lineup for Tampa Bay as his recovery has went great. If he does then I see the Lightning going on a run to remind the league what they are capable of.

Knights vs Coyotes Betting Tips:
The Coyotes are 0-2 and have only scored 1 goal over those two games. Thats not going to cut it. They have been decent defensively allowing only 3 goals but todays game is going to be a challenge.
For tonight they welcome the Golden Knights into town and this is going to be a tough game for Arizona. The Knights are a stacked team who will be looking to get back on track after dropping their last game.
I just can’t see this game going any other way so gotta follow my gut here and go with Vegas to push the Coyotes losing streak to 3 games.
