Well that was a rough night of hockey from a betting standpoint.
We had the Canadiens to win in regulation against the Blue Jackets. The Habs won 3-2 but they needed a shootout to get there.
Our other tip was over 6.5 in the Penguins vs Rangers game but this stayed under when the Rangers won 3-2 in OT. Kakko scored twice for the Rangers, including the OT winner, and the 2nd overall pick now has 6 on the year.
Of the 9 games yesterday, 5 of them needed extra time and 3 of those needed a shootout. When over half of the games needed extra time to be completed you know it was a good night of hockey.
The Sharks scored 3 times in the first period and beat the Oilers 6-3. This was the Sharks 4th straight win.
The Red Wings beat the Ducks 4-3 in OT and with the win the Wings have their first 3 game win streak this season.
It’s hard to believe but we are coming up on the quarter point of the season already. We have 5 games tonight which for a Wednesday is a decent day as usually its a slow night.
Capitals vs Flyers Betting Tips:
This should be a good game. The Flyers have won 4 in a row and their last 3 needed extra time to be completed. The Capitals have picked up at least 1 point in 12 straight games going 10-0-2.
The Caps are 8-1-1 on the road and the Flyers are 6-1-1 at home.
On the year the Caps are #1 on GPG with 4.00 the Flyers are 13th with 3.12. Both teams are allowing around 3.00 goals against per game.
Both teams playing great at the moment and both will be looking to continue that so I like this to be a high scoring game.
