Well the Flyers/Capitals game ended up being a dud in terms of goals yesterday unfortunately. Some of those saves Carter Hart pulled off were tremendous.
Islanders got the win even though there was a late comeback by the Leafs. That one scared the crap out of me as I had a personal rather big bet on the Islanders in regulation. I just felt that was great value for the Islanders. Thought it was a lock when Islanders get that empty netter then boom boom. A very nervous last 40 seconds. Hockey is scary.
Loved that Blackhawks game. I’ve been hoping they start scoring for fun and it looks like they’re going that way. They’re now 7-7-4 as well not too shabby.
Busy day in the NHL. Sabres and Tampa both return from their European trips in interesting spots. Sabres after their impressive start have now lost their last 5 and will be hoping to reset.
I was hoping to bet against the Sabres there but I am just not 100% on the Hurricanes despite their performance against the Sens. Some very weak performances prior to that.
I want to take the Stars so bad today – I think there is value there. Which is funny as Scott was interested in taking the Preds the other night and I talked up the Canucks big at home, and now I am looking to bet against them. However Bishop has been a big reason for their recent results and I just don’t have the faith in Khudobin.
I want to take the Red Wings too as they have been just Fabbrilous. It PROBABLY has value but I just can’t advise it.

Lightning vs Rangers Betting Tips:
Slightly iffy about taking the over here due to Tampa returning from the trip to Sweden and lethargy may set in there. However they’ve had a very inconsistent season then were able to beat the Sabres in both games. You’d think they’d focus on this as a turning point, and come back motivated.
Both teams top 10 for goals scored, while bottom 10 for GA. Both let in lots of shots as well.
Rangers are without Zibanejad still however Kakko has stepped up lately which is nice. Rangers shouldn’t be scared of Tampa after that Penguins performance. They’ve also stepped up lately against some top teams and had that win over Tampa tail end of last month. Lightning will hopefully have that fresh in their minds.
