We are creeping closer to the New Year. We are half way through December already.
We had the Wild to win against the Blackhawks if Kahkonen started. Well he did and the Hawks won 5-3. Kane scored a hat trick for the Hawks who snapped their 4 game losing skid with the win. Eric Stall scored for the Wild and it was his 1000th career point becoming the 89th player in league history to reach the number.
We asked in the Poll which game would be the highest scoring of the day? The winner with 35% and correct answer was the Flyers vs Jets game which had 10 goals when the Jets won 7-3. Scheifele and Wheeler both scored a power-play goal and added two assists.
The Kings beat the Red Wings 4-2. Kopitar scored twice and moved past Wayne Gretzky for 4th place on the Kings franchise point list with 919. We went with the Red Wings to win.
The Golden Knights beat the Canucks 6-3. Max Pacioretty scored twice and added 2 assists in the win.
A busy day with 5 games and as mentioned a couple days ago we are going to proceed with caution until the new year.
Capitals vs Blue Jackets Betting Tips:
The Caps have been amazing on the road this season going 15-2-1. Over their last 10 games they are 8-1-1.
The Jackets are 8-8-1 at home and have gone 3-5-2 over their last 10 including dropping their last 2.
On paper this seems like a no-brainer for me but with the way things have gone this season the Jackets will probably win 9-1. But either way I’m going with the Caps here.
