Only the one tip yesterday.
I went with the Sabres to beat the Senators. The Sabres jumped out to a 2-0 lead only to have the Sens answer with 4 of their own. In the end it was the Sens winning 7-4. For the Sabres they need to win games like that against struggling teams. The Sens retired Chris Phillips #4 before the game and that seemed to give Ottawa the boost they needed.
The Leafs lost to the Pens 5-2 . The Leafs are now 4-5-1 over their last 10 including losing their last 2 games. Crosby had 4 points, 1 goal and 3 assists, for the 34th time in his career. He has 7 goals and 16 assists in the 13 games since he returned after missing 28 games.
The Red Wings beat the Canadiens 4-3 and swept the season series. The Wings have won only 15 games this season and 4 of those have came against the Habs.
Some more moves happened. The Canadiens traded Marco Scandella to the Blues, the Sharks traded Branden Dillon to the Caps and the Sens moved Dylan DeMelo to the Jets. It’s reported that the Kings traded Alec Martinez to the Knights but it hasn’t yet been finalized. Thats a lot of defensemen getting moved and it will be interesting to see how the moves turn out for these teams.
6 games for us tonight. There is nothing I like for today. Instead of forcing a tip I’ll just avoid them for today. Be sure to check the comments section and discuss there.
