1-1 to end frustrating February. I’ll take it and let’s hope for Money March. Or Mega March. Let’s just hope it’s not Mental March.
In the early game, we had Bruins/Islanders to go over 5.5. I correctly called the Bruins scoring early and they got the goals for us – alas the Islanders couldn’t. Just seemed like an off day for the offense.
We won with the over in the Flames/Lightning game. It was a bit of a nervewracking 3rd period but it finally came through for us.
The biggest change in the playoff race yesterday saw Arizonas chances increase by 10.9%, while the Predators and Flames dropped about 6-7%.
Six games on the board today. Flyers/Rangers is a super early one. Tough one to call there with the Kreider situation. Whether the team will band together without him or whether they will call it quits. I hope it’s the former but I think it’ll be the latter.
I went back and forth on the Panthers vs Flames game and just couldn’t decide. I wanted to back the over as I mean it’s the Panthers but on paper yesterday that Hawks game should have went over. Flames I think will want to end the road trip strong and have bounced back great.
I went back and forth on the over and a Flames win but have ultimately decided to sit that one out.
Blue Jackets vs Canucks Betting Tips:
I shared the chart on Friday that shows the Jackets xGA rising with Seth Jones out. I incorrectly banked on Korpisalo turning that around. He’s going to have to be playing his A+ game to keep the pucks out it looks like.
Canucks are always good for a few goals. This is the last game on their road trip and I hope for a decent effort from them. It’s been a weak road trip where they are getting the goals but it’s not enough with them leaking goals right now.
You never know how teams react on the final game of a road trip but the Canucks mostly this season give a big effort and I’m hoping for that today.
Jackets – gotta show up after that thrashing right?
Feels like two teams with a strong desire to win. I’m tempted to go 1u but I feel like I’ve been burned a bit on overs on Sundays lately and that’s affecting me.
