Well still no concrete news on the NHL yet. It’s one of those things where I’ve really stopped paying attention honestly. Random ideas keep getting thrown out and people take it as gospel then nope that’s changed.
The whole thing is really just getting tiresome to be honest and I’m not really paying attention. And now the big story is somehowe to do with racism. I’ve missed what this is about but I’m happy with not getting involved in reading that at all.
I did see some nonsense where one reporter was making a big fuss over McDavid and Crosby not commenting on racism when asked about it? Good for them. The way the media twist peoples words etc just to support their narrative – I’d be telling them to F off too.
Anyhoo let’s turn our attention to actual sport. This weekend we’ve got more Bundesliga action, and also AEW Double or Nothing 2020.
I’ll tip the lone Bundesliga game taking place tomorrow which is Hertha Berlin versus Union Berlin.
Hertha Berlin vs Union Berlin Bet:
Hertha Berlin got off to a good post-COVID19 start, as they thumped Hoffenhein 3-0. Although they were a tad lucky in that game I felt.
They come into this one as favourites but at 2.30 odds.
I like this to be a competitive game. Hertha will be confident and did a good job taking their chances against Hoffenheim. However Union Berlin were scoring more goals before the shutdown and after that frustrating game against Munich, I think will come out more motivated.
You can’t really base much on the Munich game as I mean it was Munich – they went in with a set strategy there and stuck with it.
I’m going to go with Both Teams to Score in this one as I think it will be competitive and both will get on the scoresheet.
I’ll cover Saturdays games in tomorrows posts.
PS: I called it “soccer” as our audience is primarily Canadians and that’s what they call it here. Don’t worry I hate it too.
