Well my “great” luck continues. I went with the Sens to beat the Jets. The game went to overtime but it was the Jets who won. The Sens had leads of 2-0 and 3-1 and were the better team but the Jets stayed in it to force OT and win. It sucks to lose but with so many games going to overtime its hard to pick winners this early in the season and that sort of eases the pain I guess.
The Capitals vs Penguins game was another great one. We figured it was basically a coin toss game and it was as, like the last game between these teams two nights ago, this one also needed extra time. Crosby won it in overtime.
The Flyers got their revenge against the Sabres winning 3-0. The Hawks have played 4 games this season, lost all 4 and have used 3 different goalies. They lost to the Panthers 5-4 in OT.
Bobby Ryan scored again for the Wings when they beat the Jackets 3-2 in OT. Last year’s top draft pick Jack Hughes is off to a great start this year with 2 goals and 4 assists in 3 games. He helped the Devils beat the Rangers 4-3.
5 games for us today. And my ego needs a winning night not to mention my bank account as when we are allowed back at bars I’ll be buying all of Graeme’s beers with all these losing nights.
Oilers vs Leafs Betting Tips:
I’m going with the over in this game. Sure I went with the over when the Leafs played the Jets a couple nights ago and that didn’t come through for me.
But it’s McDavid and Draisaitl vs Matthews and Marner. There are so many offensive stars in this game that I just have to go with it.
These teams play each other 4 times in the next 6 games. Both will be trying to put their stamp on being the top offense in the North Divison.

The Habs won the last 2 games and looked great. The Canucks have lost their last 3.
The Canucks have taken 21 penalties over the 4 games and doing that is not going to win you games. Once the Canucks get their shit together then they will be a team to fear.
But until then, I’m going to follow the streaks and go with Montreal to win.
