Well Graeme had another good night with the tips going 2-0.
First it was the Avalanche to win in regulation against the Kings which they did when they won 4-1. The Avs jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the 2nd and didn’t look back.
Next was the Senators to beat the Maple Leafs. The Sens scored the first 2 goals and never trailed when they beat the Leafs 4-3. Batherson scored twice in less than a minute for the Sens. Joey Daccord got the surprise start and picked up his first win in the NHL. Hopefully everyone got on this one as the odds were amazing.
The Canes beat the Red Wings 2-1 to move into 2nd place overall in the league and 1st in the Central Divison. The Islanders beat the Devils 3-2 in a shootout and with the win the Isles are now in 1st place overall.
A busy Monday for us with 10 games.
March 15th, 2021 NHL Betting Tips
Predators vs Lightning
The Lightning are heavy favorites here. They have played the Predators 5 times and won all five.
To get any value here we have to take the Lightning -1.5. They have covered that in 4 of the 5 wins against the Preds. And the Predators are dealing with a bunch of injuries right now. They are without Duchene, Josi, Ellis, Sbisa and others. Sure the rookies have done a decent job filling in but those are some huge skates to fill.
The Lightning are at home here where they have gone 10-1-0 this season. On the road the Preds are 4-9-1.
With all of the injuries and with the Preds on a 3 game losing skid I like the Lightning to cover.

Only the one tip for today but was looking at a couple others.
Capitals vs Sabres
Was going to go with the Caps in regulation but decided against it. The Sabres are without Eichel and Ullmark and have lost 10 in a row. But the Caps could treat this game as an easy win and not show up which we have seen them do before. I’ll avoid this game.
Oilers vs Flames
Oilers looking good right now but with the Flames having Sutter in as head coach this game could go either way. Was also looking at the over with this being the battle of Alberta but the last time these teams played it stayed under.
@Scott, I like the call on Bolts PL–tailing. In addition, the total 5.5 looks too short to me. O/U 5.5 L5 Bolts 5-0 and it wasn’t close: 9-10-7-9-6. All unders previous 5 but 4 of 5 games vs Preds went over. Injuries to Preds might be an issue for their contribution but Bolts aren’t having any trouble scoring. Bolts TT over is a play as well. Bolts went 5-0 over 3.5 vs Nashville.

I enjoyed the last game as the rookies were out there for the Preds and giving it their all. If they do that again this game should go over.

Jets regulation, how on earth is this team the underdog against Montreal? Habs were dogshit against the Flames.. Jets didn’t lose a single game in reg to the Leafs and that last game in particular was impressive.
Sure they got blown out last time they played but it works both ways.. i don’t think their compete was very good that game, they got to feel like they owe the Habs a big one here and they beat them 3 straight before that so it’s not like Montreal is some kind of boogie monster for them.
Schedule also favors the Jets.. they’ve had a good rhythm without b2b’s and go back home. Habs are playing their 5th game in 8 nights and have been struggling to find their legs recently.
I get that Montreal is going to try and up their desperation but that’s about it.. anyone got any other reasons why they should win? Am i missing something here?

I agree, Jets is a solid team and should beat the struggling Habs. 2 units in regulation.

A quick PSA – I know a LOT of people who as soon as they heard McE was in net for Tampa tonight, unloaded a ton of money on the over – way beyond their bankroll limitations etc.
If you’re one of those people – don’t start looking at tonights games trying to recoup the money fast etc. That’s a dangerous play and can send you down a hole. Hell I just saw one guy say he is betting everything he has on Caps +2.5 at 1.04 odds(!!!) just try to recoup it.
Take the night off. Shit sucks when it happens and it’s why we always advocate proper bankroll management. It protects you from these sort of things.
And it happens – we’ve all made those mistakes. I still remember the time I thought a Villa vs Man City game was an absolute sure thing to go over 2.5 goals. Had did so much research on it etc. Made a big bet on it. Final result was 1-1 and I titled hard that night and emptied my entire sportsbook bankroll on a random WNBA game (knowing nothing about WNBA at the time). That was about 20 years ago and it’s still fresh in my memory.
This shit sucks when it happens but stay off the betting for tonight, sleep on it then simply reset the bankroll to whatever you’ve got now and start betting within it.
