A good day of hockey yesterday with some fun games.
Betting wise we won with the Knights -1.5 in easy fashion as they walked all over the Ducks. Lost with the Canes in frustrating fashion as the Canes blew a 2 goal lead then lost in OT.
Big win for the Coyotes yesterday to help increase their playoff hopes.
UFC was quite the event last night. That Chris Weidman kick man – oh man. Just nightmares. Great show and what a difference having fans back. It’s funny as UFC was one of those events where I really didn’t mind fans not being there. It was a different experience.
But just hearing the fans last night and how loud they were etc? Man that was something special.
Our current mailing provider is shutting down on a few months so some changes will be forthcoming. More details on that at a later date when I figure out the best option.
A quiet day today with 4 games on the board. Let’s look at each game and see what we got.
Penguins vs Bruins:
Penguins slight underdogs here. They come in on the back of some fine form with three wins straight over the Devils. A beast of a home team you have to go back to March 16th for the last time they lost in regulation at home…..to the Bruins.
Boston coming in off that 6-4 loss to the Sabres. Bruins will be rolling with the 5-1-0 Jeremy Swayman. Bergeron may not play.
Looking at the matchups between them – no surprise it is expected to be quite a close game.
With just how good the Penguins are at home this season, I’m happy to back them at underdog prices.
Penguins incl OT/SO – 2.05
(Odds correct as of 2021/04/25 12:41:25 PM EST but are subject to change.)
Rangers vs Sabres:
Rangers trying to keep their slim playoff hopes alive here. They have a 4-1-1 record over the Sabres but it’s been damn close with a lot of wins requiring overtime.
Shesterkin has a great record against Buffalo but is a bit of a concern right now.
Not enough confidence in the Rangers to get the job done in regulation – which is what it would have to be.
Flyers vs Devils:
Nothing here.
Lightning vs Jackets:
And ditto.
You said it Graham. I had Hall to win inside the distance for a fair amount and it still didnt feel right with how that ended lol
When he actually went to stand on it aww man
Yeah that was a nightmare!
Sabres ML
