Only two games yesterday and I had no tips.
The Blue Jackets beat the Red Wings 5-3. This was a close game that was tied at 3-3 with just over a minute left. Werenski scored and they added an empty net at the end.
The Lightning beat the Islanders 4-1. The Isles scored first but the Lightning quickly answered and kept going for the win.
For tonight we have 11 games. Initially we were to have 12 but the Senators were forced to postpone their next 3 games to due to a Covid-19 breakout.
Canadiens vs Rangers Betting Tips:
Oh the Habs, where do we start? They have had a rough year to this point but Price may begin skating soon which is a great sign for them.
The Rangers have won 3 in row heading into this game. They have gone 9-3-3 and are in 3rd in the Metro.
Montreal has been a bad road team this season going 1-6-1, the Rangers at home have gone 3-1-1. I have to back the Rangers in this game.

Islanders vs Panthers Betting Tips:
The Isles come into this game having lost their 2 games. The Panthers are doing worse as they have dropped 4 in a row.
But the Panthers are playing at home here and they should use this game to snap their losing skid. When home the Panthers have gone 7-0-0.

Sabres vs Penguins Betting Tips:
The Sabres started out the season flying and looked great. But since then the have come back to earth going 3-5-2 over their last 10.
The Penguins have dropped their last 2 and have the same record as the Sabres over their last 10. During the last game you could see the frustration on the Penguins when Crosby threw a guy into the boards.
Both teams slumping so I’m skipping this game.
Flames vs Flyers Betting Tips:
I wanted to take the Flames here but I looked at their record in the month of November and it has me put off. They have 2 wins and 5 loses. One of their wins was against the depleted Sens. 3 of their 5 losses were in overtime. I’m skipping this game. Since I did I’m sure they win convincingly but so be it.
Predators vs Maple Leafs Betting Tips:
I really wanted to take the Leafs here. They’re on a 3 game win streak and at home where they have gone 7-2-1.
But the Preds are also on a 3 game won streak and are 5-2-1 on the road.
We all know the Leafs are a great team but are known to have garbage game from time to time. I’ll skip this one but I was really close to a Leafs regulation win
Coyotes vs Blues Betting Tips:
If we were to take the Blues -1.5 the odds are only around 1.83. No value there so no tip on this game for me.
Sharks vs Wild Betting Tips:
This game I have no idea about. The Wild should win and the odds show that. They are at home where they have been strong going 4-1 but have gone 6-4 over their last 10 games.
The Sharks have lost their last 2 but have beat some strong teams so far this year so it makes it tough to bet on game when they are involved.
Oilers vs Jets Betting Tips:
The Oilers have been a great team so far this season so it should be an easy pick on them here right?
Well the Jets have had a decent season too and they are at home where they have gone 6-1-1. Not for me.
Red Wings vs Stars Betting Tips:
The Stars are a tough team to read. They have played 13 games this season and 6 have needed extra time.
They are the favorites in this game but to get any value it needs to be regulation and as mentioned above its to risky.
Capitals vs Ducks Betting Tips:
This is going to be a good game.
The Caps are 9-2-4 and have won 4 in a row, the Ducks are 9-4-3 and have won their last 7.
It’s hard to bet against the Ducks right now but the Capitals are no pushovers either so it’s tough to predict a winner here.
Hurricanes vs Knights Betting Tips:
The Canes have been amazing. The have 22 points which is good for 2nd overall in the league. They trail the Panthers by a single point but have two extra games to play.
The Knights got Stone back last game and they won 7-4 against the Canucks.
I wanted to take the Canes but with Vegas at home with Stone back they may use thay last convincing win to build off of and go on a run.
NHL First Periods:
Blues to win 3-way. 2.05.
Early plays I have are Montreal +165. This is a simple value play as the rangers are over valued and nobody wants to take the canadiens at the moment. This has potential to get ugly but the high reward makes it worth it. Shesterkin has not been as good this month so this can be either a get right game against a poor offense or an opportunity for a team who’s effort has been there to nick a few. Montembault not starting was the deciding factor as he’s been bad. Gimme the kid to stand on his head against the rangers something I’ve seen happen to them often throughout the years. Drouin back for Montreal helps the offense get a spark as well.
Florida in regulation-110. They’ve struggled both on offense and defense compared to their red hot start to the year, but this is an absolute great opportunity to get right against an opponent clearly running on fumes. Islanders could empty the tank as it’s the last road game before their first home game of the year, which won’t occur until Saturday. Problem is they may not have anything left. The defensive woes can be blamed on spencer knights recent performances as bobrovsky has been solid. Sorokin has been good as well for the islanders but 2 goals may be enough for the panthers and anything more than that should be a comfortable win.
