We went 1-1 with the tips last night.
The Stars covered the -1.5 when they beat the Coyotes 4-1. This was the Stars 7th win in a row which ties a franchise record including when they were the Minnesota North Stars.
We had the Kraken to beat the Penguins if Jarry didn’t start. DeSmith got the go ahead and the Penguins won with ease 6-1. The Pens had a great start to the game scoring 3 times in just over 5 minutes of the 1st period.
The Avalanche vs Flyers game was a good one. The Avs won 7-5 and only 4 Avalanche players didn’t register a point. When they put up 7 goals and MacKinnon didn’t have one of them it speaks to the depth the Avs have. MacKinnon must be getting frustrated as he has only 1 goal on the year. This was the Flyers 9th straight loss.
It was nice to see the Canucks get a win 24 hours after they cleaned house in the front office. New coach Bruce Boudreau picked up the win.
A busy night of NHL action tonight with 10 games scheduled.
Rangers vs Blackhawks Betting Tips:
The Rangers are on fire right now. They have won their last 6 games and are 9-1-0 over their last 10. The Hawks have alternated wins and losses over their last 8 games.
Hawks goalie Fleury is 1 win away from reaching 500 for his career which would have him join Brodeur and Roy as the only goalies to reach that milestone.
If Fleury shows up then the Rangers may have some trouble winning this game. The Rangers have won six of its last seven games decided by a goal and are 8-1-3 in games this season which were decided by a single goal.

Wild vs Oilers Betting Tips:
The Wild have been great of late going 7-2-1 including winning their last 6 in a row. The Oilers have gone 6-4 and have dropped their last 2.
The Oilers have 9 players out with injuries which has a lot to do with their poor play. Their last 2 games which they lost were against the Kraken and the Kings who are not that strong of teams.
The odds for a Wild won including overtime or shootout make this a play for me. If the Oilers snap out of their slump and win ending the Wilds win streak then so be it but it’s worth the risk.

Panthers vs Blues Betting Tips:
Really wanted to take the Panthers in this one. But I noticed that they have done most of their damage at home this season. At home they have gone 14-1-0 and on the road, as they are for this game, they have gone 3-3-3.
The Blues have gone 7-3-1 in St. Louis this season. With the Panthers winning their last 3 in a row and the Blues losing their last 2 I still can’t back the Panthers thanks to their record on the road.
Islanders vs Senators Betting Tips:
Yeah no thanks.
Blue Jackets vs Leafs Betting Tips:
I like the Leafs to win this game but to get any value we would need to take them with the handicap.
They have lost their last 2 games. There are times when they look like the best team in the league but other times they look like the Sens.
Hurricanes vs Jets Betting Tips:
Both teams have similar records over their last 10 games. The Canes road record this season is 9-3-1 which is also the record the Jets have when at home.
Getting coin flip odds for this game and I am staying away from it.
Lightning vs Canadiens Betting Tips:
These teams haven’t played each other since the Cup Finals last year.
Was leaning towards a Lightning win in regulation but, despite winning their last 3 game, 2 of their last 4 games needed extra time.
With the history of these teams I’ll skip this game.
Predators vs Red Wings Betting Tips:
I was leaning towards a Preds win but got scared off by the Wings.
The Wings are surprisingly on a 5 game win streak and have gone 9-2-2 at home. The Wings have some injuries to some key players so can’t back them with any confidence.
Ducks vs Sabres Betting Tips:
The Ducks played last night and lost in a shootout. They have lost their last 2 games and have gone 4-4-2 over their last 10. The Sabres have dropped 4 in a row and 2-7-1 over their last 10.
Just an easy game for me to skip
Flames vs Sharks Betting Tips:
The Flames have gone 15-5-5 this year and have had 8 games go to extra time.
To get any value here we would need to take them to win in at least regulation and as mentioned above, they have needed overtime a bunch this season.

Yesterday I actually wagered Sens ML / but I felt they were dominated way too much at their own end and with this heavy back to back, no go.
