4 games yesterday and we didn’t have any tips.
The Devils beat the Flyers 3-0 handing the Flyers their 10th straight loss. You have to wonder if the Flyers can pull themselves out of this and back into the playoff picture or do they start moving pieces and accept that this is a lost season and work on making themselves a better team for next season.
The Avalanche killed the Rangers 7-3. The loss snapped the Rangers win streak at 7 games. MacKinnon scored which was only his 2nd of the season but still has 18 points in 13 games.
The Canucks won their 2nd in a row under new coach Boudreau when they beat the Bruins 2-1 in a shootout. And the Stars also had their win streak snapped at 7 when the Knights beat them 5-4.
A busy night tonight of hockey with 10 games. I have to keep these short today as I have 3 kids home with me sick. One has a negative result already but is still sick so have a doctor’s appointment, another is tired from getting their vaccine yesterday and the last has their covid test today. A co-worker tested positive so I had to get tested yesterday and the results came back negative thankfully. Although 2 weeks off of work would have been incredible.
I apologize for the length of this but my family comes first.
Bruins vs Oilers Betting Tips:
The Bruins played last night and lost in a shootout. The Oilers have lost 3 straight.
With the Bruins playing last night and then making the flight from Vancouver to Edmonton they could be tired. The Oilers are at home here and have been good going 9-3.
These teams played each other once already this season and the Oilers won that game 5-3. I could see that happening again.

Blackhawks vs Canadiens Betting Tips:
With Fluery still looking for his 500th win I like the Hawks chances here. They couldn’t get it done against the Rangers but they now have a chance to get him there against the Habs.
The Habs have lost 4 straight, have gone 2-7-1 over last 10. The Hawks lost their last game and have gone 5-5 over last 10.
As long as Fleury starts I’m good taking the Hawks to win this game.

I second the oilers ML, another positive factor is that their D is starting to get healthy: nurse is already back and Ceci comes back tonight. I also think their PP is due to pop. They have only scored once during their last 16 opportunities and that is a trend that won’t stick.
May take time off betting; the NHL and NBA are highly awkward right now. Only leans today are full game Over 5.0 for the Detroit, Calgary and Minnesota games. Possible overtime for Detroit and Toronto games, but haven’t looked deep enough into those options. Oilers I’m not touching, I don’t trust them in any way. When they slump, it’s because of poor defense and lack of depth on offense, and what’s changed? Can’t see them getting excited about playing a struggling and tired Boston.
