One tip yesterday.
I had the Oilers to win in regulation against the Senators but the Sens won 3-2 in overtime.
The Panthers destroyed the Jackets 8-4. The 3rd line combined for 15 points. Marchment had 6 points, Reinhart had a hat trick and an assist and Lundell had 5 assists.
The Wings vs Ducks game was close with the Wings winning 2-1 in overtime, the Hawks took only 21 shots when they lost to the Canucks 3-1 and Matthews scored a hat trick and helped the Leafs beat the Devils 6-4.
A busy night of hockey with 11 games scheduled.
Capitals vs Penguins Betting Tips:
Big game here. Crosby only needs 2 goals to reach 500 to become the 2nd active player to reach that milestone with the other on the visiting team.
They have played twice this season with the Penguins winning the last one 4-2 and the Caps winning the first 6-1.
Both teams are in the top half of the league in GPG. Both are coming off of high scoring games with the Caps scoring 5 in their 5-0 win against the Stars and the Pens had a 7 goal game when they lost to the Kings 4-3.
A good rivalry like this usually leads to high scoring games and I’m going with that.

Jets vs Flyers Betting Tips:
The Jets snapped a 6 game losing streak in their last game. The Flyers finally picked up a winning after losing a franchise record 13 straight.
With both teams amped up after ending their skids I expect a fiesty game here.
After the way the Flyers have been playing all season it would seem like a smart play to take the Jets here. But I’m sure the team will regroup after losing all last month and then winning the last game. After this game the Flyers are off until the 9th so having 2 wins in a row would give them something to think about and hopefully build on.
I’m skipping this one.
Sharks vs Lightning Betting Tips:
The Sharks will have their hands full in this game. They played each other about a week ago and the Lightning won with ease 7-1.
Both are coming off of loses. The Sharks have had a tough schedule over their last 5 games including tonight’s where they have faced the Lightning, Caps, Panthers, Hurricanes and Lightning again today. After this game they are off until the 14th so almost 2 weeks.
The Bolts are 7-2-1 over last 10 and sit in 2nd in the Atlantic and tied for 3rd overall. They don’t play again until the 10th.
The Lightning are huge favorites here and a Lightning -1.5 play is the only option. But I for one reason or another can’t find the confidence to make it a tip
Leafs vs Devils Betting Tips:
They played last night where the Leafs scored 4 unanswered in the 3rd to come back and win 6-4.
The Leafs have won 4 in row and the Devils have lost their last 5.
Even taking a Leafs regulation win is below 1.70 Odds and with the game in New Jersey I feel like the Devils will have a better effort here which makes this a no play from me.
Kraken vs Bruins Betting Tips:
The Kraken have 14 wins this season which is the same number of losses the Bruins have.
I like the Bruins chances here but the odds are terrible and would have to be a -1.5 play. Looking back at the Bruins recent results and that pick wouldn’t work. The Bruins lost, won 2-1 against Yotes, lost two in a row, beat Jets by 1 and then beat Caps by 1. Easy skip here.
Panthers vs Rangers Betting Tips:
The Panthers have won 4 straight but are still on the road here. The Rangers are 10-5 over their last 15 games.
They have played twice this year with both teams winning one by the same score 4-3.
The Panthers have been amazing this season and if they can solve their road issues they would be unstoppable.
With them splitting their games, the Panthers road play 9-6-5 vs the Rangers home game 14-4-2 I feel that avoiding this game is the smart play.
Senators vs Islanders Betting Tips:
This game I have no idea. If you added the Sens 32 points this year with the Isles 36 points they would still be in 2nd in the league and 1 point ahead of the Avalanche lol.
Nothing for me here.
Canucks vs Predators Betting Tips:
This is the Canucks final game of a 4 game road trip where they have gone 2-0-1. The Preds are 3-0-1 over their last 4.
This is the 3rd and final game between these teams this season with the winner winning the season series as both have a win.
After the Preds lost the last game against the Canucks they won the next 3, including twice in Nashville, then lost their last game 3-2 in a shootout vs the Oilers. With them at home I’m taking the Preds here

Flames vs Stars Betting Tips:
This should be a good game. The Flames are 4-6-0 over their last 10, the Stars are 6-4-0. On the road the Flames are 14-9-2 , at home the Stars are 15-5-1. Both teams have 48 points on the season.
They have played once this season with the Stars winning 4-3 in OT.
With the Flames playing tomorrow against the Coyotes they may just mail it in in this game but a big effort here and a win tomorrow gives them a 3 game win streak heading into the all-star break.
I feel like this game is to close to call so I’m skipping it.
Coyotes vs Avalanche Betting Tips:
Wow. The Avalanche are beasts this year the Coyotes are not.
I can’t make it a play on the Avs as a -1.5 play is 1.50 which shows you just how lopsided this game is.
I like the Avalanche for sure to win this game but honestly it may be worth putting a small amount on the Coyotes who if they win is worth 5.25. No tip here obviously.
Sabres vs Knights Betting Tips:
Just like the game above this one there is no value on taking the Knights. -1.5 is only 1.64. I like the Knights but no tip as all plays are below our 1.70 minimum.
