Two tips yesterday and we went 1-1.
Our win was the Avalanche -1.5 against the Islanders and this was a close one. The Isles appeared to score a goal and take the lead halfway through the 3rd but they reviewed it and said it didn’t cross the line. The Avs scored the go-ahead goal a minute after and added an empty net goal at the end for the win.
The loss was the Hurricanes to win in regulation against the Wings but the Wings won it 4-3 in overtime. The Wings outshot the Canes 41-30.
The Oilers picked up goals from McDavid and Draisaitl and Koskinen made 39 saves and the Oilers beat the Flyers 3-0. The Jets beat the Canadiens 8-4 in a crazy game. The Jets scored the first 4 goals of the game and the Habs answered with 4 of their own. But the Jets weren’t finished scoring as they scored 4 more in the win. It was the first time in NHL history that a team has blown a four-goal lead only to win by four goal.
A nice night of hockey with only 4 games.
Blues vs Rangers Betting Tips:
This game is a close one and tricky to call.
The Blues have won 4 in a row and have gone 7-2-1 over last 10. The Rangers have dropped their last 2 going 5-4-1 over last 10.
The odds are close here with the Rangers slightly favored. These teams haven’t played each other since 2020 so there’s no recent data to go by. The Rangers have 71 points in 51 games, the Blues have 70 points in 52 games.
On the road the Blues are 13-8-4, at home the Rangers are 17-5-3.
Everything I look at about this game doesn’t give me confidence in either team as its all so close.
I have to skip this one.
Sabres vs Leafs Betting Tips:
The Sabres are slumping losing their last 6 games, the Leafs have won their last 3.
The Leafs are favored here and I like them to win but the odds make this unplayable.
A Leafs -1.5 play is only worth 1.58. Sure we could look at them -2.5, thats worth 2.10, but that’s a but risky for me especially with the Leafs going with Mrazek in net.
Another game I have to skip due to the odds.
Kings vs Stars Betting Tips:
They have played each other twice this season with the most recent being a 4-0 Kings win.
The Kings have gone 7-2-1 over their last 10, the Stars 6-3-1.
The Kings will be looking to get back in the win column after they shit the bed in their last game against the Bruins where they lost 7-0 which snapped their win streak at 5 games. The Kings have won their last 6 road games but the Stars are no push over in Dallas going 19-7-1.
This game could go either way and I have no idea who wins it.
Predators vs Kraken Betting Tips:
The Preds had an eventful week last week. They retired Rinne’s number on Thursday and then on Saturday they played the Lightning in the NHL’s Stadium Series before a sellout crowd of 68,619 outdoors. They now look to get back to a normal schedule and against the Kraken it’s a great start.
The Kraken have lost 7 straight and things aren’t going to get any easier for them with their leading scorer Jared McCann being place on the injured reserve.
The Kraken beat the Preds on October 14th which was the first win in franchise history for them. These teams played again in January and the Preds won 4-2.
With the Kraken struggling and the Preds pumped to get back to a normal routine I like the Preds to win this game.
