We had one tip yesterday and it was a win.
We had the Islanders to win in regulation against the Ducks and they did 4-3. Palmieri scored twice and Sorokin made 39 saves.
The Heritage Classic took place and the Sabres upset the Leafs 5-2. The Leafs have lost to the Sabres twice, the Coyotes and the Habs in the last couple of weeks and these are teams they should be winning against as they are fighting for top spot in the Atlantic.
The Preds beat the Wild 6-2. The Wild have lost 2 in a row and have gone 3-6-1 over last 10. It’s a bad time for them to go on a slump. They are currently in 3rd in the Central but the Preds are tied with them and the Stars are 5 points back.
Rookie Cole Sillinger scored a hat trick for the Jackets and they beat the Knights 6-4. Kuemper made 46 saves when the Avs shutout the Flames 3-0. The Penguins beat the Canes 4-2 and with the win the Pens are only 6 points behind the Canes for top spot in the Metro.
We are a week until the Trade Deadline so rosters are going to look a lot different for some teams. I can’t wait, I love deadline day and all the scrambling that teams do as they get ready for the playoffs.
Only one game today, the Coyotes vs the Senators. There is nothing I like for this game. So there won’t be any tips for today guys sorry.
